- Servos allow him to carry and lift slightly more than he would normally be able to and keeps the armor lighter on him than it looks [1.5x]
- Not Very Easy To Move In: Even though Jak himself is used to the weight, it still leaves him at a disadvantage in melee combat
- Not very sneaky
- EMP and Ion weapons short out weapons and armor systems, including the servos which sets the full weight of the armor on Jak, limiting him even more than it already does.
- Extreme Heat: Can melt servos (flamethrowers etc) in prolonged exposure. Also makes the armor too warm for a human being to function.
The armor was originally his older brother's, a strong warrior trusted to guard Gilamar Skirata during his time as Mand'alor. As such it was equipped with the latest technology available at the time. Forged from Beskar from his home town and the Rekr of House Skirata painted boldly on its center, the Beskar'kandar leaves very few gaps in the suit that a standard suit of Beskar'gam would leave making it amazing at soaking up enemy small arms fire. However that added bulk from the various armor systems and full beskar pauldrons and gorget leave the wearer of the armor in an awkward position. How does one move in such armor? The solution was a series of servos throughout the armor that aided the wearer's strength and helped keep the bulk of the weight off of the wearer. However that gives the armor a special weakness to Ion weapons and EMP as it essentially becomes a beskar husk after the servos get shut down.
