  • Servos allow him to carry and lift slightly more than he would normally be able to and keeps the armor lighter on him than it looks [1.5x]
Weaknesses:
  • Not Very Easy To Move In: Even though Jak himself is used to the weight, it still leaves him at a disadvantage in melee combat
  • Not very sneaky
  • EMP and Ion weapons short out weapons and armor systems, including the servos which sets the full weight of the armor on Jak, limiting him even more than it already does.
  • Extreme Heat: Can melt servos (flamethrowers etc) in prolonged exposure. Also makes the armor too warm for a human being to function.
DESCRIPTION
The armor was originally his older brother's, a strong warrior trusted to guard Gilamar Skirata during his time as Mand'alor. As such it was equipped with the latest technology available at the time. Forged from Beskar from his home town and the Rekr of House Skirata painted boldly on its center, the Beskar'kandar leaves very few gaps in the suit that a standard suit of Beskar'gam would leave making it amazing at soaking up enemy small arms fire. However that added bulk from the various armor systems and full beskar pauldrons and gorget leave the wearer of the armor in an awkward position. How does one move in such armor? The solution was a series of servos throughout the armor that aided the wearer's strength and helped keep the bulk of the weight off of the wearer. However that gives the armor a special weakness to Ion weapons and EMP as it essentially becomes a beskar husk after the servos get shut down.

Kinetic: Very High

Why is the Kinetic resistance so high, generally Beskar has low kinetic resistance since it's simply just plating and that doesn't do much to mitigate kinetic force.

I read Kinetic resistance as resistance to slugthrowers and the like, which it does actually have a great deal of resistance to. Even if you were to strike it with an axe the armor itself would still be fine, though the kinetic force would still pass on to the wearer. I guess the miscommunication that I had was that I was rating the armor itself and how well something would damage the armor, not how it would damage the person inside via physics. Would it be better to lower that rating and specify in a strength about the armor's actual durability or does that explanation work for you?

Alright, you've got an armor that is essentially resistant to everything, and it's only weakness is that it's heavy (not sneaky/no stealth is not a weakness, this isn't designed for that).

Something needs to be dropped down to below average if you're going to have two extreme ratings and a very high rating.

[member="Lily Kuhn"] final question before I go back at the ratings, are the ratings based on how well the armor itself takes the damage or how well it stops harm behind the armor. An example being a heavy club. It probably won't even dent beskar, but the shock would probably harm the user.

Both.

edited. Dropped two ratings to average and added another weakness. Of the rating sliders present and materials used/type of armor it doesn't make sense for anything to be below average
