The Cademimu Autodrome pit lane
Name: Cademimu Autodrome
Image Source: Real-world Istanbul Park pit lane
Classification: Podracing circuit
Location: Cademimu
Affiliation: Cademimu Syndicate
Description: The Cademimu Autodrome stretches over 300 square kilometers with part of it being in a mountain range, making for a tortuous and treacherous circuit, complete with a number of rather tight curves. Part of the Cademimu Autodrome is in a forested area used for commercial logging, forcing drivers to navigate through tree stumps at times. The pit lane, running parallel to the finish-line permanent grandstand, capable of hosting 100,000 spectators, is in a relatively flat section of the region, and also comprises one of the longer straight segments of the circuit as well as all the requisite equipment such as a control tower and firefighting equipment. Other smaller, temporary grandstands were located in different hills in the area, contributing an additional 200,000 seats.
History: The Cademimu Syndicate, not wanting to play second fiddle in the world of podracing to planets like Malastare, Tatooine and Ando Prime, built the Cademimu Autodrome in an attempt to make a name for itself in the podracing world. The Cademimu government of the time aimed to build and so enlisted the help of Mandalorian architects to design a track worthy of a gold-level podrace, with the high level of hazards usually associated with them, and the first edition of the Cademimu Classic is run before Mandalorian Empire officials.
Intent: To provide Cademimu with a gold-tier podracing course
