  • System Features: Sun orbited by a massive asteroid field and one small moon.
  • Coordinates: AJ-33
  • Major Imports: Booze, technology, foodstuffs, droids.

GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: N/A
  • Climate: N/A
  • Primary Terrain: N/A
  • Major Locations:
Cabo
The only surviving planetary body of a sordid and war-filled history. Cabo was actually a moon, historically, but is simply referred to as a planet for lack of more comprehensive means to describe it. The little moon still sits comfortably in the habitable zone, revolving around the sun in an orbital lane mostly clear of asteroids. Its climate is termperate and manageable, full of grasslands and mountains and speckled with an extensive system of lakes and underground caverns. It is home to a host of non-sentient creatures but lacks any civilized settlements to speak of. Any historical sites left behind have long since been claimed by the untamed nature.

Asteroid Belts
There are three main belts that orbit the sun in the Cabo System referred to as Cappy's Rings: Inner, Center, and Outer. These rings are rich in mine-able materials, including gemstones, crystals, metal ores, and more. Nothing of rarity to note, but enough to keep a high-stakes mining company busy for a long time. The Outer ring is infamously difficult to navigate, harboring a large amount of magnetic ore - it tends to make technology go a bit nutty.

The Caboose
A defunct and partially destroyed Star Destroyer floating in a belt of asteroids, the new HQ of Cap's Caboose Club.

POPULATION
  • Native Species: N/A
  • Immigrated Species: Humans, presently.
  • Population: Minimally Populated
  • Demographics: At present time, humans, with a smattering of various alien races that come and go. There is no permanent population of any note.
  • Primary Languages: Galactic Basic
  • Culture: A loose association of women who have found a common ground despite varying backgrounds and alignments. They work things out through club meetings with a general laissez faire approach. In general decisions are made for the benefit of the Club, as Cabo has been marked as a system devoted to providing respite from the economic and governmental drama of the galaxy.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Governed by the Club's three founding members: Blackthorne, [member="Jamie Pyne"], and [member="Spark Finn"] insomuch as "governed" can really be used to describe it. The three woman convene on major decisions, but otherwise let things run unimpeded.
  • Affiliation: Cap's Caboose Club
  • Wealth: Medium - This waxes and wanes with the membership. At times active participating members have been known to donate large sums to enhance the offerings of the Caboose. At others when activity is low it's slim pickings. The Founders keep it afloat with their own contributions.
  • Stability: High. Cabo is a system for the women and run by the women. While not lawless, the only people who will find the place threatening is men.
  • Freedom & Oppression: Relaxed and fairly open. There is no stigma against the various creeds and affiliations of the galaxy. What laws are in place are simply there to ensure that all Club members can enjoy their time here without fear of persecution for their chosen modus operandi.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: There is no formal military unless you count a group of banded women affronted by outside interference.
  • Technology: Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The history of this system has been lost to the eddies of time, but from what the Founders can gather it was the location of a heinous battle that destroyed the only habitable planet here and countless lives. The only hints remaining are the skeleton of a defunct and strange looking Star Destroyer and the overabundance of resource-rich asteroid belts. There was no sentient life to be found, not even on the lonely moon left behind.

Discovered originally by Captain Blackthorne who thought to turn the moon into a new cache location, she instead offered it up as a retreat for women when a strange conversation in a cantina brought herself and two other ladies into agreement. There needed to be a place for the galactic gal to get away from the absurdity of war and greed and commerce. A place they could set aside their differences to come together and celebrate their similarities in kind without the interference of the male kind.

A club was formed, a ship commandeered for renovations, and a system renamed.

The rest, as they say, will be history.
