Strengths:
- Very Fast: The TX-7 Repulsorlift Engine was an advanced Repulsorlift technology developed by Daw Motors several years ago makes it very fast for an airspeeder of its size.
- Civilian Craft: The only weapons on the small airspeeder are a pair of light blaster cannons and while the airspeeder is made from Mandalorian Steel, which is only slightly stronger than Durasteel, it is still easily destroyed and targeted.
- Open: Open air and without a roof, the pilot and passengers are vulnerable to any incoming fire.
The first new design from Jecht Thrash and his design team at Daw Motors in nearly a decade, the Spitfire was a grand departure from Daw Motors' hard "No Weapons" stance. Sporting two light blaster cannons, the design choice was made after some pressure from MandalMotors' new CEO Dorn Skirata. In order to appease the emboldened Mandalorian the Spitfire was born with the hope that it wouldn't be used for war.
Luckily, MandalMotors and MandalTech as well as other Mandalorian companies had the Mandalorian Empire covered when it came to weaponized vehicles and the Spitfire saw some moderate success off-world across the Galaxy, though not nearly as much as Daw Motors' K-Series speeders which offered superior protection and equally premium materials such as Beskar, high quality Bantha Leather and sexy designs. The C-Series, beginning with the Spitfire was set up to be Daw Motors' mid-range luxury line.
