Special Features: A high focus scope is placed on top of the rifle body, allowing the rifle's long range to be used effectively. A gas canister on the under body of the rifle.
Description: A single action, bolt action rifle with a long range that is intended to be used for long distance shots. Gas is fed from a canister along the bottom of the rifle into the ignition zone when the trigger is pulled to halfway, the path is clear for only a certain amount of tie before sealing, which can only be reversed by cocking the gun. When the trigger is pulled flush the hammer strike ignite the gunpowder found at the back of the cartages. The gas that is released into the ignition zone bolsters the ignition, creating more pressure to expel the bullet. This is what gives the rifle its range.
A weakness of this design is that the range can only be utilised as long as there is gas stored. As soon as it runs out, the range drops dramatically. A second weakness is that the increased pressure can place strain on the rifle, so even if replacement canisters can be used, no more than two should be used without the rifle receiving maintenance.
A strength of this design is its range while a second strength is that the increased speed and range from the gas assisted explosion turns the bullet into, what is effectively, an armour piercing round. While it does not have the same penetration round as an actual armour piercing round, it is close.
