- Blaster Actuating Module - A simple upgraded blaster actuating module with custom firmware and a stronger electromagnetic accelerator that provides a more powerful blaster shot that often penetrates further into a target than weapons without this module.
- Multi-Optic Sight - A bulky on-weapon optic equipped with numerous sensors including low-light, thermal, ultrasound, millimeter wave emitters, video capture and standard optical enhancements. The optic is connected to a pair of goggles - or helmet - worn by the user by a reinforced fiber optic cable that transmits vision enhancements directly to the user in real time.

- Stopping Power - Much like the C-14 Heavy Blaster Pistol; the C-14 Blaster Carbine has a higher capability of stopping an enemy target due to its Blaster Actuating Module.
- Multi-Optic Sight - When utilized the sight provides an individual the capability to see around corners or over obstacles without putting the wielder in immediate danger.

- Reliability Issues - Due to the Blaster Actuating Module, the C-14 Blaster Carbine suffers many similar problems the longer the weapon is utilized. This is due to the strain that is placed on the weapon from the actuating module.

The C-14 Blaster Carbine is in many ways a slightly larger version of the C-14 Heavy Blaster Pistol, though upgraded for more prolonged service. Its ammunition capacity is doubled, and takes less time to reload whilst also providing a higher rate of fire. However; the C-14 also suffers some minor issues just as its predecessor weapon does. The main draw back is the reliability issues that the C-14 line suffers due in part to the Blaster Actuating Module - a downside for its higher stopping power; which can result in the weapon malfunctioning or jamming during combat.
Its primary use is for close combat - as its multi-optic sight does not provide for a longer engagement range like a dedicated sniper rifle would. However; that same multi-optic sight can be utilized more efficiently in night time combat operations, as well as aiding in overcoming battlefield obstacles such as smoke, darkness or other environmental conditions that would obstruct vision. Likewise, it can be utilized if a unit is pinned by an unseen enemy and need to check the immediate area around them without putting themselves in danger.
