SPECIAL FEATURES
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • The droid has the capability to fight, being armed with the Commando Variant of the E-5 Blaster Rifle.
  • The Firefighting capabilities are greater than the standard B1 Variant due to its greater quantity of the foam it uses to fight fires, along with higher intelligence.
  • The BX-FF has a quicker reaction time to fires, meaning they can fight them before they cause major damage.
  • Usage of the alloys that made the B1-M Magma Droid are used to allow the BX-FF to fight in high temperatures.
Weaknesses:
  • The droid's firefighting equipment makes the movement for the droid slightly wonky, making it difficult to find good cover for combat.
  • The backpack can be shot at and destroyed, making it useless to fight fires. This can be done to allow the flames in an area to cause further damage than they would have had if the BX-FF controlled the flames.
DESCRIPTION

As the designing of Battleships for the Crimson Hand began, the concern for fires caused by the inevitable dog fights they would have with other factions had come up. Thus, a separate group of designers took inspiration from the B1 Firefighter battle droid and created the BX-FF. This droid, unlike the original model, was capable of both firefighting and actual combat, allowing it to defend an area and put out any fires in that area at the same time. The larger backpack the B1 version had was put onto the BX-FF, along with the hose it needed to fight fires. This made combat involving the droid slightly problematic, due to the new large target on the droid's back.
