STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • N/A
STRENGTHS
  • Good Luck Hitting Me” - boasting a narrow profile, high speed and maneuverability as baseline and able to significantly enhance one at the expense of the other this ship is a nightmare to target.
  • Hard Hitting - a heavy armament for its size means it can hold its own in a fight even outgunning some ships its size.
  • Advanced Sensors - the NZ Thanatos ECM/A Suite and NZ SAP-2A SSA [sensory systems array] provide excellent targeting data and threat detection capabilities even from long range.

WEAKNESSES
  • No Fighter Complement - a lack of hangar space means the class is dependent on other ships for fighter support.
  • Doctrine Dependent - the class was custom designed for First Scouting Squadron. It is vulnerable if fighting alone in a sustained engagement. This strips it of its main advantages: speed and agility.
  • High Power Demands - the combination of advanced N&Z systems, high performance engines and heavy torpedo armament places significant demand on the reactor. Crews are advised not to use AIMS, SLAB and full armament simultaneously.

DESCRIPTION
After establishing First Scouting Squadron, Charles needed new custom ships that were able to keep up with the Stryker and complement it in battle. As much as he liked the character and creativity of the scrap yard ships such as the “Ugly” series of ships he recognized Mahporeem’s need for more modern ships. Thus after three design attempts the Bullet Class design was officially completed and submitted to the N&Z Umbrella Corporation as a custom order.

The Bullet Class was designed with the motto of First Scouting Squadron in mind: Hit Hard, Hit Fast, Get Out. Its hull is made out of Ersteel SLCA - Super Light Composite Alloy providing excellent durability and protection while saving weight. The Hermes Engines and OS-HD3H Hyperdrive System allow the ship a high degree of maneuverability and speed only enhanced by the AIMS and SLAB systems (although it forces the sacrifice of the other when one used). The armament features a potent combination of Heavy Ion Cannons and heavy Torpedo Armament which pose a grave threat even to larger vessels.

The Bullet Class is best used in groups of two to three ships employing a variety of hit and run tactics. The most lethal of these are the torpedo runs, the three favorites being “The Wall” a large group of ships line up to fire a broadside of torpedoes, “The Anvil” two groups of ships split up to fire torpedoes from opposite sides of the opposing ship and finally the “The Rush” charging to fire a close up unavoidable salvo.
