The Bullet Class Escort Frigate was born from necessity. After Charles’s successful engagement over Doan where he managed to cripple a Prosperity Class Cruiser singlehandedly Captain Ronhar gave Charles permission to establish his own squadron so he could better serve the Imperial Remnant.
Having been granted permission to search through Mahporeem’s vast ship grave yards Charles and his Engineers found two suitable hulls. Charles oversaw the painstaking work that was put in by both his own Engineers and Mahporeem Salvage and Repair crews from finding necessary components in scrap piles to actual assembly.
The result was a ship that punched above its weight class in certain circumstances. The four proton torpedo launchers can seriously threaten larger ships as demonstrated over the battle over Doan while the turbolasers and laser cannons provide a strong deterrent against enemy fighters.
Although they don’t boast the crisp uniformity of most Imperial ships due to their salvaged origins the class is solid, capable and crewed by new but well trained and motivated crews.

- Strong Armament - The Bullet Class has a strong armament for a ship of its size. Its torpedo launchers can threaten much larger ships while its twin light turbolaser batteries and four laser cannon turrets are capable of shredding incoming fighters.
- Speed - A lighter construction than most frigates of its size allows for higher speeds and better maneuverability in battle.
- Low Profile - a sleek flat blade like profile makes it significantly harder to hit from certain angles.
- No Fighter Complement - Entirely dependent on other ships for fighter support.
- Average Defenses - The Bullet Class only has standard shields and armor.
- Salvaged Construction - Despite every effort being made to use matching parts some mismatching was inevitable. The result is a build that is more consistent than most salvage builds but that still needs access to Mahporeem’s ship yards or significant field repairs.
