Bugs (TU vs RA Skirmish)

The pair of Scion-class stealth corvettes entered the system far out from the main worlds, the burst of cronau radiation that heralded its arrival would be undetectable from the main worlds from such a distance. The pair accelerated gradually, but inexorably towards the system, keeping their signatures low. Due to the relative velocities of the two systems they’d jumped from, and the orbital position of the worlds in the system, the aimed not for the moon of Jamoura itself, but another body in the system.

They closed rapidly on the world from behind, turning an acute change of course, the exchange of kinetic energy between themselves and the celestial body would of course tend to zero over the course of their trip, but the momentum exchange relative to the system’s star meant they used the world as a slingshot to catch up with the target moon without having to burn their thrusters hard.

It took several hours to complete the journey to the moon, coming up on it from behind, relative to its orbital course. If they’d come in any harder, the thrust required to slow to make a safe drop would have given their position away. They cruised in nice and close, using their carefully calculated course to bring them in tight for the drop without major corrections.

As they passed they opened hangar doors and dropped three small pods that had been hastily fitted into the small corvettes. They hit the thin atmosphere at high speeds, but even a thin atmosphere was like a thick soup compared to the vacuum of space. Even shielded as they were against particles and the electromagnetic storm, their drop could not go undetected. Speed was their weapon now. The drop pods came to rest on the surface close to their target destinations: one of the massive transmission arrays that acted as the main node between the local systems and the Holonet.

Decades.

That was how long the Dar'manda had existed within the exceptional timeline of the Galaxy. In comparison to the thousands upon thousands of years that had encompassed history, he was but a single thread in the grandest tapestry of all. Yet, as these things often went, his thread was not destined to sit alone. No, his thread, his story, was destined to intertwine and mingle with the tales of others.

Such was the case of this day, where a quintet of warriors would descend upon a distant moon. Their target was a rather valuable array: one that connected the adjacent systems to the lucrative HoloNet. Today, Dagora-Kel would assist his capitalist brethren in their battle against the nefarious Rebel Alliance. They, a cell of dogs masquerading as Selectivist "heroes" had been a thorn in the Southern System's side for too long.

Entry into the operation zone was something that Dagora was personally accustomed to. After all, he regularly dove out of hangars astride his Bes'uliik War Droid, so falling through space in a drop pod felt no different. When his ferry of steel and shields met ground, Dagora promptly disembarked by kicking out the door and stepping out onto the moon. As per the usual, he was well-dressed and well-armed for the situation at hand. However, despite being ready to face down whatever trash awaited on the moon, he did not move forward.

He had to wait for his comrades to disembark, after all.

Wretched Vampire
OOC note: The goal of the attackers is to upload a virus into the computers at the hub of an array of dishes 500m from your landing zone. You each have a single chip for upload. This will propagate across nearby Holonet nodes and increase Spynet monitoring of Rebel communications (Leads to 200m extra ships in the next defensive engagement) tbc

Break would follow after [member="Dagora-Kel"] he was definitely prepared for a fight but being stealthy was his main concern. He left behind his Kraken Minigun and opted now for his plasma canon, Caliburn and his vibro-katana Break was armed for success. His armor was a muted navy blue and was fully charged.
The drop hardly phased the HRD as he had done this numerous times before. After landfall Break easily pushed the door from his path and stepped out of the pod. Scanning the direct vicinity he looked to Dagora and nodded the two were the first to touch boot to ground as they waited for the rest of their team.
He booted up his HUD and activated thermal scanners
A small message popped up in the corner of his helmets screen. "Systems Fully Operational" newly made repairs and upgrades were on their maiden voyage as Break ran another systems check to make sure everything was in working order. Again the check came back clean and Break stood waiting for the rest of the team.

Oddball

This is what happens when you tap the glass
Oddball had been tasked with various jobs throughout the rebellion, as a trained and highly experienced commando he usually dealt out training courses to the men and women who served in the Alliance military. And of course today was no exception, he was away from his squad who were in orbit around geonosis at the moment and he was here instructing the security guards at the facility on how to properly shoot a rifle. Really it wasn't something he was all that happy with but the force dead clone did his best to make sure these people wouldn't frag each other the moment they got into combat. He wasn't really dressed to impress at the moment. Wearing basic cammies with a blast vest that had sappy plates beneath he had on very basic armor of knee pads, elbow pads, etc etc and he didn't bother bringing along his old Dreadguard armor.

So standing in front of the platoon of fifteen men that were located in the front of the facility he lifted up his Red dead assault rifle and sighed.

"This is the red dead, standard slug throwing rifle for the alliance. It's tough, easy to use, and will put a exit wound the size of a tennis ball in your enemy at seven hundred meters. Now it fires your basic seven six two that packs a hell of a punch. It'll put a hole in armor and you have a cool little range finder." oddball droned on to his class completely unaware of the coming storm of planet killing madmen that were on their way.

With him he of course had all of his normal combat gear in a back pack that he'd go over later on. A few ray shield and particle shield grenades, some cool little gadgets along with an augmented shooting tool and the like. He was set for a long day of boring lectures and training

Ever the humanitarian, Nyos was on planet stocking up the facility with medical supplies and his crew of droids were assisting workers in bringing them inside. He usually wore a business suit on these trips, but the rumors of the inevitable return of the "ever changing their name" guys had him on alert at all times. Wearing his armor for the first time in months, Nyos tugged at the 'sensitive' spots that weren't as fitted as they once were.

"Get those last few crates out, we don't want to keep them waiting."

Nyos looked over at the group of security guards being instructed by a militant type who knew these men were as useful as Protocol droids in a fight. He marveled at the lack of interest they seemed to have to learn their jobs. This is why Nyos liked droids or clones. More refined.

Max found himself wandering around the intricate corridors of one of the Alliance's more secure areas. Smoking a cigarette and allowing himself a break from the constant flow of information field agents sent in to get processed. Information came in, orders went out, seemingly onward into eternity. The shear volume of data was almost maddening by itself, and shifting through the contents only added to that feeling. He wore the standard utility uniform of the RA Army without any of the normal unit markings or name identifiers. On the outside of his upper thigh sat a heavy slugthrower pistol and across his back was slung the military's standard slugthrower rifle.

The lights flickered slightly as he moved slowly down the corridor, periodically taking a drag from his smoke.

A normal and boring day... Blane couldn't think otherwise, there was nothing for him to do but simply patroling even if it wasn't an order from anybody. He walked through the whole although he couldn't notice Max even once, having an AR-47 at his back and his typical DC-17 hand blaster sheated not far from his right hand, he seemed to walk sighing.
"The rebellion is a little slow today..." He thought for a moment leaning against the wall and crossing his arms.
