- The Bryn'adûl

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Bryn'adûl Bellator Warriors
  • Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl
  • Classification: Dark Jedi Special Forces
  • Equipment:
- Bellator Combat Harness
- Bryn'adûl Lightsaber

COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Availability: Rare
  • Deployment: Limited
  • Strengths & Weaknesses:
+Saber Specialists: The Bellator operators specialise in the use of a single bladed orange or red lightsaber, (orange denotes seniority) being trained by Tathra himself in the use of a lightsaber and in combat, the Bellator operators are Knight level lightsaber users.

+Force Assassins: Bellator operators typically go behind enemy lines, and take out small specialist groups or place traps for particular groups of enemies. To put it plainly, they are hunters. They use the force to both conceal their physical selves through cloaking, and additionally to conceal their force signature from opponents. Additionally, the operators can use the force to increase their reflexes.

+Enhanced: Bellator operators are cybernetically enhanced fighters, giving a buffer to both their strength and stamina. However, will be killed by a fatal blow all the same.

-Notions of Competence: Bellator operators have a typically high success rate, leading to a stubborn arrogance in their approach to situations which can often hamper their professionalism. In particular, an operator would give chase to a target if they killed one of their own. Even if it left them alone and vulnerable. Thus, whilst deadly a operator can be trapped.

-Opportunity: Bellator operators follow a strict, high defence form of saber fighting. As, they await an opening from their attacker and strike quickly and aim almost entirely for disabling or fatal blows. This, leaves a operator with less choices against a equally defensive opponent.

-Force Defence: Against an opponent more capable with the force, Bellator operators have difficulty defending against force based attacks.

-Cybernetic Hamper: When hit by an EMP, the cybernetics that Bellator's typically use can be shorted out. Which, can cause an almost total collapse mid-combat. The Operators have hardware systems to reboot, but can be stunned and immobilised temporarily by an EMP. Where as a direct ion blast will immobilise precisely what it strikes, but only momentarily.

  • Description:
Shortly after the creation of Tathra's Promethean Guard, he saw about the dismantlement of the Ancient Eye's intelligence bureau, rebuilding it from the ground up under his control. One specific task force garnered his attention, their intelligence and recon operators. Tathra took complete control of this division, replacing it with the Bellator Operators.

The Bellator's became both intelligence officers and assassins, serving to gather information on enemies and under direct orders from Tathra himself, take them out. Following the creation of the Bryn'adûl, the group segregated from what remained of the AE and followed Tathra as part of the Bryn'adûl's private military.

Thus, becoming almost solely as long term operation assassins, serving for months on end against targets that barely showed their faces. Bellator operators have the highest success rate other than the Promethean Guard themselves. They are efficient swordsmen, but under pressure; break against any extraordinary foe.

Sounds solid to me. The one thing I'd ask, both for balance and because it makes sense, is a significant weakness involving their cybernetics - EMP/ion, battery life, mass, whatever.
