Bring Down The Sky..In Space (All Omega Pyre Members Welcome)

Rebellious Vanguard
"Blast it! Why won't this thing work?!" Ventasia slammed her fists into the starfighters console as it barreled through the darkness of space. It was her initial attempt at piloting, well, anything. She had barely even been off world, let alone gotten behind the controls of a fighter. Yet, today she decided it was her perfect opportunity to try. Her big chance to prove to herself that she was capable of doing anything, even when not trained at it.

She found her way to the hanger the Jedi used. At the time, she was simply wanting a way to distance herself from the Jedi, to get away from the overbearing righteousness the carried. Even if she was a part of them. The idea hadn't even crossed her mind until she gazed out at the dusk setting in on Coruscant. At that moment, a wild smirk found its way to her face. Why not take a fighter for a joyride? What could possibly happen? After all, nearly every Jedi seemed to pilot one. How hard could it actually be? To her luck, one just happened to not only unsecured, but open as well. With a quickness that would normally only be used in a sticky situation, Ventasia hurried to the vessel, leaping into the cockpit. It was only moments before her fingers prodded at every button in that fell into her gaze. Suddenly, the fighter activated with a deep hum. The lights flickered, computers switched on. Her hands rubbed together as if trying to warm them. "Alright. Lets have some fun!"

However, there was very little fun to be had. Before she knew it, the cockpit closed over her as the fighter rotated, its nose aimed out the open hanger. Ventasia's eyes widened as she searched for any button or switch that even remotely looked like an off switch. But to no avail. Before she could even find such a button, the ship took off like a rocket, propelling itself straight out the hanger and into the air. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she applauded herself lightly. "I knew this couldn't be that hard. Now, lets see.." It took her but only a moment to pull back on the controls, angling the fighter higher into the air as it began to escape the planets atmosphere. Normally, her over confidence would help her out, but this time it would prove to be her undoing. As she raced through the atmosphere, she collided with another incoming fight. The collision was only minor, or so it seemed. Once into Ventasia noticed a flashing light on the screen before her. As examined the small screen, she noticed that one part of the ship was blinking red, the right engine. Of course, that could only mean one thing.

"That looks like the ship. And if that's the ship, then that..must be.. oh sithspit."

~Present Time~
Around, and around she went. Where she would stop, no one knew. Her fists slammed into every button she could catch in her view, but to no avail. The ship with but one engine continued its wild path through the darkness of space. "What do I do? What do I...oh no." Ventasia's issues had suddenly gone from bad to worse. She was no long just barreling through space. The ship was heading directly for a space station. Now, things were simply getting out of hand. She had no piloting experience, an engine that went out on her, and was heading at high speeds for an unknown space station with no way of diverting her path. Somehow, Ventasia wasn't shocked. After all, what did she really expect to happen?

After thinking for a moment, she snapped her fingers, having concocted a simple, but possible plan. "That's a space station. Station's have sensor arrays. They can pick me up on their scans." Ventasia took hold of the controls once more, angling the ship toward what looked to be a hanger door. At this point, one of three things was going to happen. A, she was going to smash into the station and blow up. B, whoever was on that station would pick her up on their sensors, and shoot her down thinking she was an enemy. Or C, they'd open the doors and she could hopefully guide the ship into their hanger. As grim as her odds were, she simply hoped that C was her outcome. "Come on. Open. Open.."

The crew of the Tau Station over Corellia were watching out for trouble, and an out of control fighter was not what they expected or wanted to see.
"Unknown ship, this is a security zone. Explain yourself immediately or we will open fire," a man suddenly announced in her cockpit. Ventasia didn't have long before she either went SPLAT or was shot down.

TAU STATION
CORELLIAN SECTOR

"Sir, we have an unidentified ship coming our way. They are not altering their course and trajectory suggests that if they continue, they will impact the north end of the station."

Major Anika Od'Manteiv gave a curt nod, her eyes narrowing. "Bring the tractor beams online. I want to be ready to pick it up if it doesn't change course. Alert them to identify themselves."

"Aye sir!"

"Unknown ship, this is a security zone. Explain yourself immediately or we will open fire,"

"They're not opening.. They're not opening!!" Now Ventasia began to panic. This situation couldn't possibly get worse. but it could get better. A voice came through her comm, not one that she recognized, but a welcome one nonetheless.

"Unknown ship, this is a security zone. Explain yourself immediately or we will open fire,"

It had to be coming from the station. There was nowhere else possible. She mashed the button that opened her comms, only hoping that they would heed her quest. "Ventasia Terana of the Republic! Open the doors or I'm gonna crash!!" She'd explain the situation once she secured her life. For now, she just needed to land the blasted ship.

"Activate tractor beams now!" one officer shouted.

Invisible beams came online and the fighter slowed...slowed...stopped just a hundred metres from the station's slab side! Slowly the fighter was moved into an empty hanger.

Armed soldiers came to the hanger in case this was a trick. A scan had showed nothing hazardous, but it never did to take chances!

Always interested in a good story, Tegaea Alcori herself had come down to see the commotion. She had been there by happenstance, and this looked like an interesting tale. So she stood and waited for the pilot to disembark....

As it happened Siobhan Kerrigan was there as well when the squad of armed soldiers swarmed into the hangar. Granted this might be nothing of importance, but one could never be too careful. As usual she was armed with a lightsabre attached to her belt and a heavy blaster her hip. Not because she was expecting a sudden attack, but because she was always armed by force of habit.

Besides, Tegaea was there and Siobhan would not pass up on an interesting tale, so she took up position alongside her boss, waiting as the fighter was pulled into the hangar by the beam and awaiting the pilot to disembark. She calmly lit a cigarette while the vessel landed.

A large sigh of relief escaped her lips as the fighter sudden;y began to slow as she neared the wall of the station. She leaned back in her seat as the ship was guided into the hangar bay. As the ship came to rest, her gaze caught sight of numerous armed forces swarming into the bay. She only shook her head as the ship finally came to rest within on the ground. "Here we go." The cockpit rose, allowing her to stand within. With the least bit of effort, she leaped from the vessel, landing softly on both feet. Her arms rose above her head slowly as she nonchalantly sauntered toward the group, her eyes falling upon the redhead, and the one with the lightsaber on her hip, her own attached to the holster on her hip. Her mischievous grin, sprawled over her face.

"Relax. I'm harmless. Well, mostly, at least."

Tegaea eyed the redhead. Always more redheads! She approved.

"Didn't look harmless when you were coming at this station at point one the speed of light! What happened? Who are you?" Tegaea asked.

She was relieved Siobhan was there...in case this turned out to be a Sith Lord in disguise or something.

Siobhan sized the new redhead up. The Omega mercenaries seemed to relax their stance somewhat and lowered their rifles when it seemed that they had not let an eldritch abomination on board the station, though they were to ready to act if need be. Siobhan's stance was relaxed, though she was ready to spring into action if there was cause for it.

Omega seemed to have a habit of attracting pretty redheads, something Siobhan wholeheartedly approved of. Once more this gave her cause to wonder whether she should dye her hair, though then she decided to remain "unique". The ex-Jedi took a deep drag from her cigarette as she beheld the newcomer.

"Dramatic piloting. Bit on the crazy risky side, even for me," she said with a wry smile. Of course, Siobhan's speeder driving style could at best be described as wild and she had a habit of ramming opponents. "So what brings you here?"

Ventasia eyed the two women out front. She may have only done it by accident, but she couldn't but be happy at the sights that greeted her upon arrival. A light chuckle escaped her lips as she dipped her hands into her pockets, laying her gaze on the red haired woman. "Make introduction?Don't mind if I do. Like I said while I was having my leisurely cruise, I'm Ventasia Terana of the Republic. And that's what's left of my ship. Well, not my ship actually, but someone's."

Her attention turned to the woman with the cigarette. She was never really big on smokers, but she could make an exception for this one. Easily, at that. "I'll take that as a compliment." She turned slightly, just enough to lay her eyes upon the fighter she flew in on. Or, at least what was left of it. "That was my initial attempt to fly. Obviously a failure." Her eyes once more returned to the two before her. "Though, if I knew what was here, I'd have came here sooner."

"With the Republic, that's very informative and not vague," Siobhan responded dryly, raising an eyebrow in amusement. What with the Republic being a space empire with billions of citizens and all. However, they could probably dismiss the idea of her being a pilot.

But then the Force senses of the Major flared up and she reached out with her powers, reading the newcomer's Force signature clearly. "We got a new force-user here," she informed Tegaea. "What a coincidence. Oh, wait, there are no coincidences, only the Force. Are you with the illustrious Jedi Order perchance?" the way she said illustrious was dripping with sarcasm.

The words were spoken casually, but but her blade was ready to jump into her droid hand and flare into action if need be. However, their new guest...didn't seem the Trojan horse type.

Up in the bridge, Anika patched through a transmission over to Tegaea. "Colonel, do you need added security assistance?" she asked, motioning for the security cameras to zoom in the hanger bay.

"@[member="Anika Od'Manteiv"], I don't think so. The situation's under control. Thank you."

She observed the newcomer. Siobhan revealed she used the Force, which was interesting. A Jedi then? Hard to say. She didn't look like one, but nor had Siobhan in the time she'd been there. "Well now you're here, Miss, you can give us some more specific answers, such as your name, whether you're a Jedi, how you got a fighter, and whose it is."
She smiled though. The other woman didn't seem dangerous, and she didn't want to frighten her. "I'm also tempted to ask why you took off in a ship you couldn't fly...."

Rebellious Vanguard
A heavy chuckle escaped Ventasia's lips. Somehow, she found the questioning...a bit amusing, oddly enough. "Vague is kind of what I do." Her laughter however came to a sudden halt as it was reveled that she knew of the force, yet her smile remained intact. "Okay, you caught me. I can use the force. As for the Jedi, you could say I'm an associate. Though saying I'm 'with' them would be stretching things to ridiculous proportions."

Her attention turned once more to the red head as she spoke into her comm. She began a slow souffle towards the group as she was questioned once more. "My name again, sweetie? Well, you must not want to forget it. That's a warming thought. I'm Ventasia Terana, and I'm hardly a Jedi. As for the fight, well, it belonged to someone, I suppose. Whose? I couldn't really say." Her methodical saunter came to a halt as she stood just half a meter from the two woman out front. Her eyes running up and down, tracing them both over. "And everyone has to learn to fly at some point in this galaxy. I'll just have to try again later. So, since I've done this a third time, maybe its your turn to introduce yourselves. Hm?"

Tegaea nodded. "Exarch Tegaea Alcori. This is Colonel Siobhan Kerrigan, head of Omega Pyre."
If the woman knew anything she'd know that the two of them were very famous.

"Well, Miss Terana...what are we going to do with you? Do you want to go back to Coruscant?"

Rebellious Vanguard
"Ahh." Ventasia laughed lightly, unable to believe her luck. "I've always heard that you two were..quite the sight to see. Nice to see that all the sayings are true."

Swiftly, Ventasia circled behind both Tegaea and Siobhan, resting her hands on both their shoulders. "What you ask? Well, I'm on your ship, with no way off, and no particular hurry to return Coruscant. So, I guess the real question is; what do you two want to do with me?"

"There are three answers to that question," Allaina said loudly, leaning against the door. "There's the logical answer. There's the answer those two would normally give you. Then there's my answer, which is somewhere between the both of them. I'll let you imagine their contents."

Slowly, the Admiral made her way into the room, inspecting the landed fighter. Well, it hadn't crashed, and when starships were involved, it was her job to go and help with it, or something. They'd given her the promotion she wanted and by the stars she was going to earn it. "Admiral Allaina Mare. Welcome aboard our little station out here. My question is simple: What skills do you have other than crashing fighters?"

Rebellious Vanguard
Ventasia turned about to see exactly who had been speaking, though her eyes only widened as she saw Allaina standing behind the group that had brought her onto the ship. "Well, my imagination tends to run a bit wild, so I gotta admit I'm liking what thinking. A lot, at that."

Her arms crossed over her chest as her head leaned to the side slightly. "I wouldn't really consider it a skill, seeing as how that's my first time doing it. But I'm pretty good with a blaster. Not to mention I'm a Jedi. Well, not so much a Jedi in the sense of the word."

Allaina quirked a brow, playful smile crossing her lips. "Glad to see you think our way."

The Admiral pondered her choices, thinking about it. She was a good pilot herself, not so handy with a blaster. "If you're anything like most of our other Force-users, you like to use the Force and possibly make explosions happen all the time. I think you'd make a good member of Omega Pyre - that is, unless you'd prefer to actually learn to fly under the best, and be under my command. Either way, you'd serve the glory that is the Redhead Brigade."

It's a thing, you guys. It's now a thing.

Tegaea raised an eyebrow. This was certainly interesting. After all, the new girl was more derpy than a pony convention. Still, any gain for OP was a good idea.

"Yes, we are always open to the recruitment of talent," Tegaea said with a smile.
