Strengths
- Made with Alkahest infusion, the blade is unbreakable by normal means, as is the case with all Alchemised materials.

- Due to Gherron’s connection with the sword, as well as the energy he has deposited over time, he can call upon said energy to unleash

Weaknesses
- At almost twice the weight of a regular blade, Alkahest weapons are slower, a fact especially in contrast with the near weightless lightsabers more commonly used.
- Though the blade itself is unbreakable, the crystals affixed are not, and enough force might knock them free or break them.
- High concentration of light side presence makes this shield a beacon to any force user.
Description
Years ago, Gherron enlisted the help of one Phylis Alince to help him in making a sword imbued with alchemy, due to his refusal to use a lightsaber at
the time. Since then, the sword has seen heavy use at his hand, even after joining back up with his brother Josh and his allies in the Jedi, with Gherron
constantly feeding the crystals embedded in the hilt with his own energy whenever he wasn’t using it himself. In that time, the properties of the sword have
evolved and attuned more to Gherron’s force signature, allowing him to call upon the reserves stored in the crystals when he needs it most to unleash powerful waves
of light force energy upon his foes. Due to the new properties of the sword, he took to renaming it “Brightblade”. However, when he calls upon the force to aid him, he
speaks its true name, Clarus Ferrum. The crystal in the sword’s pommel retains its core ability to provide the user with heavy resistance to colder climates,
and to prevent frostbite and hypothermia.
