It wasn’t exactly everyday that Sunam was given a job of his explosive expertise. Granted it wasn’t like Sunam had not expected it since he knew it was only a matter of time. A time when he must build connections and expand his knowledge over modern technology. It was required to ensure the survivors of his people and family prosper as they advanced into the universe. Or at least that's what the Phantom had been telling himself as he often finds himself in a questionable state. The kind of where he questioned his expertise would be used to bring all kinds of suffering if he wasn't careful.
Fortunately what Sunam was tasked to do was to make a tank suitable for both land and aquatic environments. A hybrid of sorts with a wide selection of armaments for both environments. On the first thought, Sunam had ruled out that sonic based weaponry would be the type that can be used in both land and water. One of his large floppy ears twitched at the notion of testing sonic weaponry. Granted whenever he's testing his inventions, Sunam always wore ear protection. Sonic however was always difficult to ignore. His keen hearing is both a boon and a bane of his existence when it comes to sonic.
From what Sunam was told, he wasn't going to be alone in this endeavor. A fellow engineer was going to work alongside him, and while this brought relief. It also made him worry on the risk of being paired with an egotistical scientist whose arrogance would be sufferable to say the least. Even so, Sunam patted down his worry as he simply looked at the near future with optimism. No point in sweating about a possibility after all.
Garbed in a leather jacket with a short sleeved grey shirt underneath it. Paired with leather trousers and boots, technically it was armor Sunam knew wouldn't stop a vibro weapon from cutting through. On his belt is a holstered blaster pistol, and there was a second belt of his common tools that any engineer couldn't be without. Slung over his shoulder was a backpack that contained a variety of essentials from snacks to sets of clothes. Granted he knew he could always retire to his company-owned ship, but Sunam knew himself well enough. Once he gets started on a project, sometimes his enthusiasm robs him of sleep.
The designated workshop looked like a warehouse if Sunam was perfectly honest. The city was cramped with many buildings of both residential and commercial. Fortunately for Sunam that the workshop had its own space albeit there was really only one entrance/exit for a vehicle to fit through. The Asa'nyx lightly scratched his chin as his mind took the size of the entrance into consideration.
"For something to comfortably fit through that hole, I'd wager that it'll be a two man crew. One for driving and the other for the main guns. If we do make the bloody thing long, then a quadruple legged model with a segmented body would work too. Like an electric eel with legs." Sunam mumbled to himself before the small sentient walked over to the personnel entrance. He proceeded to knock on the durasteel door as he spoke up.
"Excuse me, it's your friendly neighborhood engineer requesting permission to enter your humble abode."
