• Material: Micro Cryogenic Capacitor(s), Plas-bonded Ostrine cooling sheathe, Reinforced Duraplast housing, Zersium liner, Ultrachrome wiring, circuitry and conductor nodes.

SPECIAL FEATURES​

• Conductor Node Network: A network of Ultrachrome conductor nodes exist to absorb the energy from electrical discharges such as arc pulse generators and other arc weapons, force lightning, stun weapons and the like.
• Capacitor Network: A network of capacitors store the energy absorbed by the conductor network. This power can then be rerouted back into other subsystems of the host armor or to another attached power cell or device connected via a connector.
• Protected Housing: Both the conductor nodes and the capacitor network are stored in protective housing made up of a Reinforced Duraplast housing, featuring a Plas-bonded Ostrine cooling sheathe, and a Zersium protective liner.
• Grounding: When the capacitors are full, the system will attempt to shunt the power into the ground, 'grounding' the user and rendering them perfectly safe.

STRENGTHS​

• Backup: The capacitors can provide a backup source of power for armor subsystems such as life support in the event that main power failure occurs and the capacitors are charged.
• Grounded: If the capacitors are charged and the system absorbs more electrical discharges, the excess energy is merely shunted into the ground, as the system grounds the user.
• Protected: The capacitors and conductor nodes are protected from overheating themselves and due to environmental conditions as well as against stray kinetic rounds, blaster bolts and against glancing lightsaber strike. Of course, given that both the components are so small in size targeting a single one would be an increasingly difficult and unlikely prospect.

WEAKNESSES​

• (Not) Grounded: Provided the capacitors are already charged, the system cannot disperse electrical discharges if the user is not standing on the ground.
• Overload: While highly unlikely given the system is able to handle a vast quantum of electrical discharge, it is possible to overload the system, causing the conductor nodes and capacitors to fry themselves. This does not cause the capacitors to explode, however, due to the system's built-in fault protections to prevent such an eventuality.

Fighting force user is far from the only source of electrical discharge that a combatant might be expected to face. With weapons like the arc pulse generator and its scaled down gauntlet mounted counterpart, the company saw a need to integrate a solution to deal with such weapons that wasn't dependent on their infantry-scale shield generator. The impetus for this discussion with the company's R&D heads and CEO Shuklaar Kyrdol was an offhand comment made by Strill Securities Fleet Admiral Nyles Kote at a tapcaf where the two were having a drink. What resulted was a system that could not only ground the user but store the electrical discharges as backup power.​
