  • Personality: Like the RD-01 Recon droids, the RD-01R models don't have as much 'personality' as the company's other droids. They merely follow their tasking to the letter without any response to the nature of said tasking, with some droids occasionally developing a notable 'eagerness' to carry out said tasking

Data Sharing

The RD-01R can share all data via the 'Manda' battlenet or any other battlenet patched to function with the 'Manda' style data-sharing and processing, but it is also capable of sharing this data over comms back to its base station and systems connected to it or any system its operator syncs it to via compatible comns.

• Feed Sharing: The composite fused sensor feed can be shared via or to any of the sources mentioned above.
• Fire-support: Targeting, positional and other relevant data can be passed on for the purposes of calling artillery or close air support/orbital strikes and the like to any compatible system.

STRENGTHS​

• Small, Quiet, Difficult to See: The 'Gar Sur'haai' is a small droid, and being coated in reflec with considerable sound dampening features makes it notably difficult to detect.
• Tough: The droid is pretty well defended for something of its size, able to take both environmental damage and incoming fire enough to return to its user if discovered.
• Observant Eye: The droid has a number of audio and optical systems, sensors and scanners that allow it to greatly increase the situational awareness of the droid's operator.

WEAKNESSES​

• Unarmed: The droid is completely unarmed and is hence unable to defend itself if it is attacked.
• EMP/Ion: Though the droid is very well protected against EMP/Ion damage, should any damage manage to bypass the droid's defenses, it wil like cause significant damage, cascading errors or in a worst case scenario, total irrecoverable shut down.

DESCRIPTION​

The RD-01R is a refreshed model of the RD-01 'Gar Sur'haai' Recon Droid featuring an increased compatibility version of the Gar'mishe'ika droid brain along with a number of other smaller improvements to its self-preservation systems as well as the addition of tracking systems and a navigation suite.​

Like its predecessor, the droid has an advanced optical and audio suite, as well as da high resolution sensor and scanner suite that allows them to potentially greatly increase the situational awareness of the droid's operator. The droid's size, reflec coating and sound dampening features enable it to get close to be able to get close enough without risking the operator. Additionally, the droid is pretty well defended for something of its size, able to take both environmental damage and incoming fire enough to return to its use if discovered.​

That said, this is the droid's only recourse if it is discovered and engaged as it is completely unarmed.
