SPECIAL FEATURES

• Variable Trajectory: The round's trajectory can be adjusted via data from external systems to place a round accurately onto even the launcher itself if required. This does require correct physical orientation of the launcher however.
• Independent Targeting: When mounted in multiple barrel configurations, each barrel can independently engage targets.
• Direct Fire Capable: The gun can be used to directly fire at targets if required for whatever reason. The results on target will vary drastically with the round loaded.
• Round Selection: The autoloader can recognize different rounds loaded into the cylinder and when connected to a compatible targeting and fire control system it can select specific rounds from those loaded to fire.
• Guided/Smart Round Compatible: The gunis fully compatible with guided rounds, able to launch them on a trajectory that matches that required for them to engage their intended target with minimal adjustment required by the round itself. The gun also has the capability to pass on data from connected computer systems such as targeting and fire control systems.
• CryoBan Cooling System: The gun can get hot during repeated firing and features a CryoBan cooling system to keep the heat from damaging the weapon or affecting its functioning.
• Autosteady Gyro-gimbal: The gimbal is fully compatible with a number of platforms, such as droids and the like and doesn't impede the weapon's use as part of a larger system.

• Accurate: The gun can accurately put a round, guided or unguided more or less precisely where the targeting and telemetry data fed to it dictates.
• High Damage Potential: This weapon has a high damage potential with due to its extremely high muzzle velocity and a reasonably steady rate of fire.
• Resilient: The weapon's construction makes it resistant to energy weapons fire, kinetic weapons fire and EMP/Ion weapons.

WEAKNESSES

• Limited Ammunition Capacity: Compared to equivalent blaster, laser and other heavy energy based vehicle/emplacement mounted weapons, the weapon does have a limited ammunition capacity.
• Reload: While the internal ammunition magazine can reload the autoloader relatively quickly, the weapon cannot fire any ordnance except for whatever it has loaded in the barrel till the process is either halted or completed.
• Loader Malfunction: Should the loader, for whatever reason, malfunction, weapon will be unable to fire except for whatever ordnance was already loaded into the barrel.
• Cooling System Malfunction: Should the cooling system malfunction or become damaged, the launcher will shut down to prevent a critical operating failure, which could potentially cook off ordnance.
• Sympathetic Detonation: While mounted internally, should a penetrating shot penetrate the weapon's outer casing and enter the ordnance storage, it could potentially set off ordnance, sympathetically detonating other stored ordnance and potentially destroying the vehicle or emplacement the weapon system is mounted on.

DESCRIPTION

An absolutely lethal weapon system in the right hands. The MAC is the realization of decades of work on the company's artillery systems, finally resulting in a thoroughly tested weapon system with exceptional levels of accuracy, damage potential and resilience. The newly developed weapon proved to match the company's standard for versatility as well, able to fire a number of different rounds to allow it to effectively engage a staggering number of different targets.

The newly produced weapon was extremely accurate, able to accurately put a round, guided or unguided more or less precisely where the targeting and telemetry data fed to it dictates. It had an extremely high damage potential, due to its extremely high muzzle velocity and a reasonably steady rate of fire. However, one of the big disadvantages of this was the fact that compared to equivalent blaster, laser and other heavy energy based vehicle/emplacement mounted weapons, the weapon does have a limited ammunition capacity. Should the loader, for whatever reason, malfunction, weapon will be unable to fire except for whatever ordnance was already loaded into the barrel.

Another notable issue is the cooling system and the possibility however remote of it malfunctioning or becoming damaged. Should the cooling system malfunction or become damaged, the launcher will shut down to prevent a critical operating failure, which could potentially cook off ordnance.
