DESCRIPTION

A more advanced minelayer bay designed by Breshig War Forge Consolidated for use with its new series of mines for use on their latest wave of modernized craft. The minelayer features a carousel loader to allow users to select what manner of mine they would like to deploy at any time. The minelayer also features an ammunition loader to take advantage of the company's minelayer deployable droid, allowing minelaying craft to resupply these droids.

The minelayer also features blowout panels to redirect to redirect the explosive force of most mine's detonations away from the rest of the ship. This is usually only useful with most conversional explosions. The blowout panels don't tend to work on exotic explosives such as seismic charges. This segment could use a bit more clarity. Does this reference a specific model of droid, or is it a generic placeholder for any model that matches that description? If it is a specific model, then can you please provide a link?

Also, the wording could use a bit of clarity. Is the minelayer mechanism being used to carry and deploy the droids to their destination, or is it being used as a mechanism to replenish the mines that are carried by the droids?

I think to use something or to take advantage of it, you've got to carry it. Otherwise...how do you plan on doing that?

Means they can indeed resupply them, in so far as I meant it.

I think we're almost there. My remaining concern isn't with the intent anymore, but with making sure the submission communicates that intent clearly on its own.

From your reply, my understanding is that this minelayer component is intended to both support the deployment of the company's Minelayer Deployable Droid and replenish its mine payload. I don't think that's quite explicit in the current wording, and I can see a reader interpreting it as merely being compatible with the droid rather than carrying and/or reloading it. Particularly with regards to the word “resupply”, that word could mean that the minelayer component can be tasked to physically carry new droids that have been lost in battle to “resupply” new droids to the front line. Or it can be read another way where the minelayer can be tasked to replenish the spent mine magazines within the droids themselves. As the current wording is, both functions are neither exclusive or inclusive of each other, and the reader is left to infer which meaning is intended, or if both meanings are intended.

Could you revise that section to state the relationship between the component and the droid more directly? I think that would remove the ambiguity for future readers.
