SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Automatic 'Lobbing' Targeting System: The software interfaces with the platform's targeting system and plots a targeting solution and flight path necessary for rocket and bomb 'lobbing' and then sends this to the platform's flight computer.
  • Trajectory Simulation: The full projected trajectory simulation is plotted out and displayed so that the crew may see if they need to adjust their position due to intervening terrain and the like.
  • Interception Probability: The software interfaces with onboard detection and analytic systems on the platform to calculate how likely any ordnance is to be intercepted while launched in this manner.

DESCRIPTION

Breshig War Forge Consolidated designed the 'Goorar' or 'throw' software for their update run of small craft, particularly their new fighter and strike starfighter. The new software is a great boon to the company, allowing aerial platforms to essentially become aerial artillery, potentially lowering losses and increasing the manner of support available to troops. The only real downside to this software is that it requires both a compatible targeting system and compatible ordnance.
