OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Breshig War Forge Consolidated's latest attempt to expand its arsenal of offerings, the CP-03V is a vambrace mounted CryoBan projector that makes use of a cell of pressurized CryoBan as a feed system, and releases the CryoBan out either in measured bursts with a single actuation or as a stream of CryoBan should the weapon's firing mechanism be 'held down'. The weapon syncs with the user's HUD and links to it to provide current ammunition, a crosshair and range indicator as well as diagnostic information about the weapon.
CryoBan is capable of doing severe damage to not just organic targets, but also to electronics, droids and vehicles not specifically adapted for operation in extremely cold climates. If an individual was exposed to CryoBan the affected area would typically experience numbing cold and, unless treated with Bacta immediately, potentially risk severe nerve damage and loss of limb. CryoBan also absorbs heat, which makes it excellent for fighting fires, but it can also be used to deal with extreme heat in other more creative ways. In any case, the weapon puts options in the user's hands that they may not have had before.
That said, the weapon's short range releagates it to use in close quarters firefights, such as one the user might find themselves in during urban combat. This relegates the weapon to more of a backup, rather than a primary weapon. The weapon only has enough CryoBan in each cell for 25 bursts or three minutes, whichever comes first. Meaning that it is most certainly not a primary weapon, but rather a secondary weapon. This also means that the ammunition must be used sparingly, and that it is recommended the user makes each shot, or each second of fuel count. Finally, firing the weapon for too long without letting it warm up again will cause the weapon to lockdown the firing mechanism to prevent permanent damage or catastrophic failure.

- Short Range: The weapon's short range releagates it to use in close quarters firefights, such as one the user might find themselves in during urban combat. This relegates the weapon to more of a backup, rather than a primary weapon.
- Limited Ammunition: The weapon only has enough CryoBan in each cell for 25 bursts or three minutes, whichever comes first. Meaning that it is most certainly not a primary weapon, but rather a secondary weapon. This also means that the ammunition must be used sparingly, and that it is recommended the user makes each shot, or each second of fuel count.
- Too Cold: Firing the weapon for too long without letting it warm up again will cause the weapon to lockdown the firing mechanism to prevent permanent damage or catastrophic failure.
