DIVIDE ET IMPERA I
Alderaan was the jewel of the Core Worlds, it was considered as one of the richest planets of culture and landscape, its air one of the freshest and most pure to breath there was. Its long, snow covered mountains ranges were the home to many unique species, its deep lakes full of clear water, lush forests slowly moving in the wind at the roots of the mountains. It was beautiful, simply put. And it was governed by one of the oldest civilisations in the Galaxy.
The Alderaanian nobles were on Alderaan for ever more or less, they were the beating heart of art and administration, patrons of the good. There were of course episodes of lesser good, civil war and brutal confrontations, the very base of feudalism that is. Houses trying to achieve a higher standing, Counts wanting to become dukes, barons wanting to become counts, it was as old as the planet itself and a miniature version of the galaxy situated in beautiful scenes of landsape.
The Sith always saw this place a possible way to power and wealth, houses were open to alliances because they wanted to advance themselves. The snowy mountains often making news travel slower and reactions delayed. It was a perfect place to do some no-good. Situated right at the heart and throat of Republic and now Alliance, it was ideal to establish a base of operations if one was able to settle or gain entry.
The supplicants had received the following message:
House Teryn of Alderaan is in turmoil, the Countess and her sister are in the middle of a fight over the county itself. Castle Teryn is the sight of a siege, not only externally, but the place itself is divided, house guards are fighting each other, the county is split and the barons have declared for either side, levies battling outside.
The two sisters are the targets, I want both to be brought to the throne room of the castle.
Countess Addelyne Teryn is a skilled diplomat and fine duelist, of long blonde hair and usually in white armor adorned in the colors of House Teryn.
Knight-Commander Madelaine Teryn is an extremely skilled warrior and commander of short red hair, clad in the armor of the Knights of Teryn.
The Knights of Teryn are a small light sided Force user order sworn to House Teryn, usually of ex-Jedi or recruited Force sensitives, trained very militaristically. They are clad in battle armor and usually cross-hilted lightsabers.
Find the two leaders, alive and bring them to the throne room of Castle Teryn, I don´t care how you do it.
A.
Castle Teryn was a typical Alderaan noble castle, equally pretty and functional with strong defensive measures towards outsiders, its flanks and back covered by near-impenetrable mountains. But unlike a straight outward defense of usual places, they were already breached by its own forces and two armies were fighting over the control of the castle and the land. The castle itself is split, just like its outward defense, fights happening in corridors, skirmishes taking place in courtyards, dinner rooms with tables turned to provide cover, libraries yearning for peace and silence. Cold winds were rushing through breached walls.
The Countess had refused to give up or evacuate her castle and was leading the defenses from the very frontlines, her farmhand blue lightsaber leading the way for her loyalist forces. She had established her headquarters in upper levels, with access to the mountain yards and small landing pads, her forces dominant on the inside of the castle, but being pushed back on the outer defenses. The Royal Guard and seasoned Knights supporting her claim due to their long-service.
The Knight Commander was pushing hard to gain a county wide advantage and was commanding her forces from her field headquarters directly situated at the castle itself. She had the majority of Knights, though most younger and less experienced, on her side. Her forces were controlling most of the outer defenses, the soldiers being the most veteran troops, fiercely loyal to their battle leader.
