Description: Not designed for all out war, the new Hokaanir-Class Frigate is a peace time vessel designed to be an intimidating escort for the Mandalorian Xerob-Class blockade runners and other important vessels. As the guard dog of the Mandalorian Fleet, they are generally minimally staffed and spend much of their time docked or in transit between planets. In battle they perform the unique and specialized role of starfighter killer with their Point defense lasers and quad laser cannons.

The two warhead launchers on the large rectangular portions that are on either side of the ship offer a kind of security as well. With each rectangular unit having 20 Concussion missiles split between two launch tubes it allows the ship to functionally use warheads in battle, even should one of the tubes be damaged. Despite this advantage, many of the earlier models of the ship have come out into the service and have been found to malfunction time to time where one side works and the other does not, or that instead of being able to fire independently they fire both tubes at once, causing early detonation of the warheads.

All in all, this is a vessel not designed for war but rather for protection and intimidation and is rarely seen on the field of battle, however is a common sight within Mandalorian space, traveling with Xerob-class starships and other important craft.
