Borrowed (Galactic alliance, anyone else Pm for invite)

Gades had just escaped the chaos surrounding the loss of Ossus by the galactic republic, he almost got left behind if he had not "borrowed" a Lambda class Shuttle from the temple hangar. He then started drifting, he kind of left the order he guessed, there was too much chaos for him. He then heard of the galactic alliance from some spacers, it seemed to fit the bill for a new home, so he set the Lambda class shuttle for Sullust. Upon arrival it took about 3 hours to go through customs, security was rather tight, but he got through with everything he had, he had no idea who he would meet, but whoever they were, they would probably be rather interesting interesting. He was currently in his human form, he did not want to draw too much attention to himself.

Things were always hectic.

The Spaceport was a mass of sentients and travelers. From spacers coming for pit stops to traders looking to peddle their goods. Sullust was quickly becoming a mecca of trade, and the Galactic Alliance using this as their capital was in no small part because of it.
Weaving her way through the crowd, Choli Vyn, Jedi Padawan and 'Verse traveler mech tech would scan the area. She had just landed with the Aurora Hawk, and Chloe and her master, Jan were out talking to the local New Jedi Order assembly. Things were moving quickly, and while Cho was sure that the conversation would be lively, she was far more interested in checking out the local peddle wares.

So it was in this journey that the crowd she was moving along with would thicken. Before long, she went accidentally bumping against a human male.

"Omph!" she would exclaim, giving a rather sheepish expression at [member="Gades Vassic"]. "Sorry!"

Gades kind of phased out, he was taking in all of the smells, sounds, sights, and people he kind of just got lost in it, until he bumped into a young woman.
"No, it my fault, i kind of got lost in the scenery, i tend to do that whenever i arrive somewhere." He said.

Choli gave a wide grin, shaking her head a bit sheepishly.

"No problem! I can't be a bit of a klutz at times. Slippery as a mud-fish," she would explain. Canting her head to the side, she would study the man before her. He appeared to be a bit overwhelmed. Was he new to the sector?

"Are you okay?" came her inquiry, dipping her head closer as the crowd around them thinned.

"Im fine just....." He thought for a second before continuing, he did not really want to pull anyone else into his mess, he wanted to get to know this young woman better before he gave her actual details.
"there was just alot of chaos back home, so i had to jump ship, i "borrowed" a shuttle, and now im here i guess." He continued

Well that was putting it one way!

Both brows would arch high at the 'borrowed' term. Was he a fugitive?? A refugee? All kinds of scenarios were very likely possible. She scrunched up her face as she mulled over that bit.

"So..." an incline of her body, and her voice would drop an octave. A curious expression of inquiry dawned over her face.

"... are you like..." and her voice fell to a whisper. " A fugitive?"

Gades chuckled a bit.
"No. Nobody is going to miss it, you can trust me on that. And no i did not kill anyone, its a long story, and i would much rather not talk about it in public." He said
"So about you, what brings you here?" He asked the young woman

Well, strike that possibly out of the list.

Cho cocked her hip to the right, her hand coming down to perch upon it. A finger would gesture to herself, "Me?" she queried, confirming the question.

Her brow would furrow, then relax. Panning her attention beyond the man who stood in front of her, a hand went gesturing towards the thinning crowd and the marketplace beyond.

"Pit stop. Looking to stock up in supplies and wandering a bit." she told him. Can't give out too much information, but common knowledge was alright.

"Going to the New Jedi Temple after grabbing some grilled nuna niblets on a stick."

Gades thought for a second, and then responded.
"I'll go with you, i have business at the temple anyway, and then ill tell you more about what happened when we get there." He said with a smile

"Oh?" Choli's head perked at that mention. Just what sort of business? Well that was a curious curio!

Granted, times like this Chloe would say it was the will of the Gods. A devout Corellian of the Old Gods, Chloe was a charming, whimsical woman with a keen sense of the mysterious and extraordinary. Choli was lucky to have both her and Jan in her life.

"Why for? Visiting?" she would ask, gesturing for him to walk with her. The scent of grilled nuna niblets would soon waft over with their delicious aroma!

Gades followed the young woman, she probably knew teh area better.
"No its less of visiting and more of joining, as i said its a long story," He said as he continued to follow her.

"Well, I can take you there if you like," Choli would offer. Since she had to meet up with her master and Chloe, it wouldn't be an issue. Adjusting her pack, she kept on walking, but never too fast for the man to keep up.

"Is this your first time on Sullust?" she asked, making small conversation. Sullust was a major trading port, and since he had mentioned he had escaped from somewhere else... well... could very well mean it was his first time. Or maybe he came here because he had come there before?

So many different scenarios.

"Yes this is my first time here, besides the volcano death fumes, this is a nice place." He said
While he did like sullust, the air was borderline toxic, and he really did not like breathing it.

"It can be a bit warm," she admitted, giving a grin. A gesture would follow allowing him to go first onto the escalator that would lead them out of the space port.

"The surface can be nice. Not everything is completely covered in active volcanos. There are a few geothermal cities. I know the Galactic Alliance and the locals have been working on that."

Things weren't getting so busy now where they were at, the crowd thinning.

"Do you have a contact you need to talk to at the academy?" she asked. Maybe she knew where specifically to take him.

Gades followed her up the escalator, stepping off he continued to follow her.
"No i do not have a contact, ill probably find somone." He said

"Oh okay," she told him, then made a small gesture, "We just need to take the rail towards the temple. Or the shuttle service." that little tidbit of information would serve them well.

"Just up ahead." it was a free transport, and usually not too crowded.

"Do you think you'll stay long on Sullust?"

Gades listened, and followed her on to the rail.
"It depends on how this goes, if it goes well, probably awhile, if not ill probably be gone by tomorrow morning." He said

"What exactly are you hoping will go well?" they'd step into the hover rail soon, and from there, would go to the temple. Security was still there, as evident by the guard and the other Jedi Knights. But they would leave them be for now.

"Well I really have no idea, it's more of an abstract reference to an unknown event." Gades said
Gades really had no idea what was happening, this was a very spontaneous visit

Choli gave a nod.

"Okay," she said. If he didn't really want to talk about it, she shouldn't press the issue. The hover rail doors were in front of them, and after a moment, she gestured for him to step inside.

"It isn't far from here." she would assure him, stepping inside herself. With people coming to and fro, it was a little bit crowded. There were no seats, but this was okay with her.
