Bohemian Rhapsody (Open)

Coruscant in the days following the Sith takeover.
Location: The Lucky Lady Cantina

A few days earlier thunder bolts and lightning very very frightening and all hell broke loose. She had been awakened from a deep sleep after working in the bar till closing. Her mind fuzzy and unsure two things she grabbed on instinct automatically her blaster, an old DL-44, and credit chit. Without thinking she had slid her feet into her faux ewok slippers that were in the place where her boots usually waited. She still had not found a pair of boots she could put on the last pair looked half melted from the heat of the fire. She was still wearing her clothes from three days ago, form fitted leggings with a belt covered by a loosely fitted red shirt. Her face was smudged with grime from scrounging around the bar for things she could use. She needed a refresher and a tooth brush. Yes she was a bit of a sight.

Rekha looked down towards where the Jedi Temple was just a week ago; a week ago none of what she was looking at was even conceived in the mind of anyone living here. She was nearly back to square one, alone and her home in a shambles. She could feel emotions churning inside her ones that she couldn't allow to escape and vocalize, least not right now. There was a time and place for everything, this time and this place called for calm and clear thinking.

Her jade green eyes looked from the floor to the ceiling of the bar that had also been her home, taking in the damage, all of the projectors which gave the place its unique image were destroyed, the glass blown out from repercussive wave, shards lay littered everywhere on the ground. FRAK she kept thinking to herself, growling slowly as she contemplated what her next move should be. She had already tried getting to The Midnight Star with no luck the occupation force was seeing to who could leave and who could not.

She had heard the Jedi were leaving en masse to escape the Sith, the Republic well now she did not know much about them they came in they drank they left not much on the social scene. She didn't care at least that’s what she told herself; she wanted their credits a lot more than their pretty words.

She exhaled hard, a hissing sound escaped past her pale pink lips, her long dark brown hair look a bit tussled, some might even think it sexy with that just had fun look to it. Her cheeks showed some of the pink coloring that often was referred to as a healthy glow under the grime. But her eyes, her eyes there was sadness there coupled with hints of desperation setting in. Putting her chin into her hands, sitting cross legged balancing her elbows on her knees she kept looking at the bar. Getting materials might be hard to rebuild right now. Unless....

Unless she made friends with the Sith. Oh but that had a lot of consequences, a lot of what ifs, and a definite challenge of survival on a daily basis. Should she try?

Did she really want to try? And would trying mean shaking her assets at the right one, or would trying get her in chains and sitting at the feet of someone who liked that old two piece dancing girl outfit. Rekha laughed at the thought.

There were occupation troops everywhere now, reigning in crowds, carting off what she could only imagine were Republic officials who couldn't find a place to hide, or someone to get them off. How insane would she look sitting there in the rubble that lay about and laughing?

It was then that a low rumbling sound could be heard she looked around quickly, had they heard it. She was hungry and her stomach was protesting the lack of food. Rekha knew there was food inside the bar her concern was contamination if she didn’t find something she could trust soon, she’d be too weak to continue moving around. Then she’d be easy pickings for everyone out there, the gangs that wandered and the patrolling Sith forces.

But there was the off chance that some else was looking to leave, or rescuing those who wanted to leave yep, there were a few possibilities. Should she make her way to Kelada, she was a citizen there. Or someplace else, start new with the credits she still had saved if she could get to them. She stiffened and sat up straight turning her head she heard the crunching of debris as footsteps made their way toward her location. Rekha scrambled to her feet, her blaster tucked into the small of her back muzzle down past her beltline. She reached back pulling it slowly from its hiding place.

She knew she wasn't quick enough to pull it on someone who already had theirs drawn, but she also knew having it leveled at someone could be a sure way to be dead quick. Course, if someone wanted to kill her on the spot they would and it would be lights out, she smiled, hoping if that was the way this played she at least made a good looking corpse in her slippers, least she had managed a manicure and pedicure a couple days ago.

So...which would it be her jade green eyes narrowed as she waited moving as quietly as she could back into the remnants of the bar tiptoeing carefully to where she could kneel down and watch to see who was walking out there. She felt her fight or flight beginning to build, she held her breath and leveled the blaster.

"Lost." Hadraas had finally accepted it, after the bombing stopped he started walking-why- was beyond him, he had no idea where he was... and had only learned the planet's name just a few weeks ago, just before he killed the man he forced to bring him here. Selling the ship he figured he'd have enough time to at least learn the ropes before getting himself in trouble.
He came to the end of one of Coruscant's many alleys, after looking he assumed deserted, crossing into the open. Still he figured he'd bounce his mainhand saber in his right hand as he passed as a warning to any who would try against him.

Rekha thought she heard a whisper, but she wasn’t sure. Carefully she inched forward back toward the way she came. She kept her eyes scanning from right to left, then left to right to watch for any movement. She kept breathing shallow, she felt the sharp edges of broken chairs poke into her leg.

Never enough to pierce the skin but enough to make her want to yelp in pain, she winced with each move silently swearing in her head.

She peered over the half wall that use to have windows she looked out, someone was standing there. Problem was, she did not know this person. What could she do now?
Slipping the blaster back behind her shirt, into the belt slowly she rose up resting her elbows on the edge careful to avoid any glass, but feeling little shards already poking at her.

“Hey, you lost?”

Grew bored, and started to shadow-spar his way down the way, stopping mid strike sensing something, a rodent scurried by the streets. His posture straightened again returning to his normal pace, pocketing one hand and bouncing his saber in the other again.
"Hey, you lost?" he hears

Turns up to the voice as if he was mid conversation with it. "-M not lost." catching his saber mid-bounce he squinted to see who she was.

Rekha pushed up so she could now stand, force user she knew what a light saber was that meant Sith. "So can you tell me what all is happening currently. I'd offer you a drink but things are a little disorganized right now" She pointed to the glass less windows.

So what was he doing, scouting or just out she did not shake her head but was he out inspecting the property. What did the Sith have in store for the residents, it was the sixty four thousand dollar questions right now.

"How would I know, lady?" he seems instantly annoyed at the question. But as he looked up to who the voice's host was- he didn't mind the view, and it showed in the face. "Not bad.." he mumbled. [member="Rekha Kaarde"]
"What are you doing up there?" He slinged his hand at himself, to beckon her down, and turn away to observe if any more surprises were present.

Rekha slid over the broken window frame setting her slippers onto the ground looking at the man before her. "I'm the owner of this rather sour looking cantina, trying to figure if the new look should be kept or changed." She smiled.

"I don't know how you would know but you might know more than I do, so I asked" She tilted her head watching him. "So what are you doing?"

Spun, his saber hilt in hand into it's place, by his side.
"Going for a walk, looking around, seeing whats broken." he crossed his arms looking up and down [member="Rekha Kaarde"].
"There was a battle, no?"

[member="Hadraas"]

Seeing whats broken, she looked around there was a lot broken. "There was a battle, are you saying you were not part of it?" If he wasn't then who was he, and what cautions would she have to take? She smiled but kept her place not moving too much, needing movement. Just in case.

Rekha crossed her arms, "You going to help fix things?"

"This ain't my world.." Walks along, as if he was whiling to leave [member="Rekha Kaarde"] behind.

"Why would I care, I just want off now... maybe something to drink"

Her jade green eyes narrowed down for a moment as her brow furrowed she thought about what all this man could be doing and NOT telling her. His declaration that this was not his world translated into two things one he was not from here, or two he was not the one who made the rules here. This was hard to digest.

"I could probably find a bottle of something, can't say what shape it will be in but maybe" Rekha got up and walked back inside stepping over debrie and broken furniture. She looked back, "come on in" She invited him still on edge, still waiting for him to reveal his hand.

the rugged form of Strider Garon appeared through the entrance of the war torn cantina. He had been on the planet for some time, flying low in appearance for he did not have a shred of mandalorian evidence upon him. No armor, no special weapons or gadgets. He don a worn black nerf hide duster over his old black T shirt and damaged combat pants and dirty boots. The only visible weapon he had was a DL 44 holstered to his right hip. He had a worn red bandana holding his long black hair back and out of his eyes, with a three week old growth of a beard that gave him a shaggy look.

"You still open?" He asked the gorgious woman, [member="Rekha Kaarde"], making the assumption she was some form of bar operator or employee. He drew a cigar from his chest pocket and lit the tip taking a few deep puffs to keep it going.

Turns to [member="Rekha Kaarde"] looking at what she was doing, he then looked back to the rest of the city-world, returning to her, he followed up. Wondering why she was inviting a random stranger into what he figured was her home. After judging the rubble however he figured it was a more public building.
"A rest couldn't hurt I suppose-" He admired her again. "Specially not with you." his voice had some flirt in its casual but confident tone, he pulled up a flat object to sit on, "And you are?"

He snaps to look at the new arrival, not knowing where he came from.

Startled by the newcomer Rekha tried not to jump but it was too late she had already jumped. "As open as can be, we have a new look its an Open air concept." Rekha took a breath and kept moving to find what bottles she could behind the bar, "ok, there's stuff to drink" The bottles were covered in dust and debrie but unbroken so it was still drinkable. She looked the newcomer over he had the expendibles look to him it was...different.

She looked at the other one who she had been talking to. "A rest never hurt anyone" And it gave her someone to talk to find out information on what was going on she needed information. She felt out of touch, and vulnerable right now. She laughed a little they were both using that tone.

"Ok drinks all the way around, on the house..." on the house under the house, there wasn't much of a house but..time she just needed time.
