Board Suggestion

Hello everyone! I have a suggestion that I hope the staff would take into consideration! I know I'm a newbie, and my ideas probably don't hold any weight, but I at least wanna state my idea ^^;;

Anyway it's like this:

I see how the rp boards are just one huge mess of roleplay threads, it's kinda confusing and daunting for me. Most sites I've rped on have important areas put into sub-boards, for instance if a site was based off a fantasy kingdom- there would be a sub-board for the the important places such as a kingdom or something. And I know this site's too huge to add every planet, as that would be insane- I was wondering if it was still possible to put something like- The Sith Empire rp area or Jedi Temple, or the Hutt Cartel? I dunno how'd it would work a hundred percent as to even pull this off it would require some planning and work. I just thought it would be a lot more nicer and neater if they were sub-boards for generalized appears.

So, I want to know the site's view on it. I know someone might of probably brought this up before, but I decided to ask anyways.

Well, we are already dividing the role play areas. If you noticed, there is an area known as Factions, where any and all faction activity's could assumingly take place. For instance, the need to train force sensitives in most Factions. Also, I know at least in the Republic that they hold democratic elections in the IC.

But the reason the Roleplaying area is as it is, is because we have Prefix's that tells the reader what kind of Role play it is.

I hope this helps in some way for you to understand.

To echo Voracitos, and due to setting up the Sith Empire's forums, I can say that people are free to role-play at the Sith Empire's in-character forum on Imperial planets.

I understand what you're getting at, @[member="Zelgadis"]. A lot of other communities have specified Role-playing Forums for planets, etc. It's a massive undertaking to do so and takes a lot away from the role-plays themselves, as the organization and the time taken to browse. Not to mention the back end of the software, including how Google correlates our content, there's just too much reason NOT to separate our content into planetary or location based forums and to keep them organized as a person would realistically view them.

Fun fact: You can also click the 'Faction' or 'Duel' or 'Dominion' tags -- or any tags -- beside any thread and see ONLY threads with that specific tag.
