  • Market Status: Closed-Market.
  • Model: N/A.
  • Modularity: Yes, Can be separated into two single-handed combat sticks.
  • Production: Unique.
  • Material: Cortosis, Turadium.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Classification: Staff, Combat Sticks.
  • Size: Large.
  • Weight: Light.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
  • Alkahest Enhancement: Created using the alternative Jedi technique to Sith Alchemy, the materials have been broken down and reforged, infused with the Lightside of the Force on a molecular level in order to enhance and empower the Bo Staff's overall effectiveness with special attributes for a truly unique and powerful result.
STRENGTHS:
  • Lightsaber Resistant: Due to Force Imbuement, as well as the density of Turadium and Cortosis, the Bo Staff can compete against the blades of lightsabers and other similarly energy-based weapons.
  • Attuned to Caedyn: While others would feel the weight of the materials used in the creation of the Bo Staff, Caedyn's practice with the weapon comes much easier thanks to the process of Alkahest, fusing the weapon with Caedyn's own ethereal connection to the Force.
  • Alkahest Assembly: Infused with the Lightside of the Force, the presence of the Ashla empowers the use of Jedi/Lightside Abilities and is capable of warding off Darksided Spirits.
  • Incomprehensible Force: When a blow is landed and the bo staff connects to the body of an opponent, the power of the Force from within the weapon in conjunction with Caedyn's own Force Signature can result in a powerful strike that may stagger even the most staunch of contestants.
WEAKNESSES:
  • Blunt-Force: Unlike the Lightsaber, the Bo Staff is not capable of cutting through metals or penetrating armour, but instead must rely on the kinetic force behind every blow dealt to an opponent.
  • Ranged Weakness: As the Bo Staff is unable to deflect the incoming weapons fire from energy-based Blasters, the user must rely on their speed and instincts in order to avoid being shot down in combat.
  • Simplicity: The design behind the Bo Staff is of simple make and lacks any real originality. The Weapon is a straight pole able to be disconnected at the centre yet offers no protection to the hands or body outside of one's ability to defend themselves with it.
  • Light On Leverage: The Bo Staff is a light weapon, meant for speed and technique rather than brute strength and momentum. In its practice, the staff would have a hard time stopping the strike of a heavier melee weapon as opposed to parrying and focusing on counter-offensiveness.
  • Force Nullification: In the presence of a Force Nullification Field, the Bo Staff's attributes will be significantly weakened. Due to the materials being infused on a molecular level with the art of Alkahest, the Bo Staff will instead rely on Caedyn's Life force/Presence in the Force to draw strength, and this may likely cause the user to weaken under prolonged conflict should the Nullification Field not be removed.
DESCRIPTION:
When Caedyn Arenais first began training as a Force User long ago, the boy had promised himself that he would avoid having to take the life of another at all costs. He created a weapon alongside his Je'daii brethren, and with their support, harnessing the very power of the Force in order to be granted a blunt-force alternative to the Lightsaber. The Bo Staff of Stav Kesh.

As the years would pass on, war was often at the forefront of the holo news and galactic media. During his time with the Je'daii, the Sith Empire would one day attack Caedyn's homeworld of Commenor, forcing the young Je'daii to make a choice between protecting his people and family, or remaining neutral in the Galaxies political conflict. He chose to return home and fight, subsequently being forced to take the life of a Sith Acolyte during the efforts to free his people from the threat of Darth Carnifex. Aided by the Order of the Silver Jedi, Caedyn would eventually return to Kashyyyk with them and alongside Asaraa Vaashe Asaraa Vaashe , who would later become the mother of his children.

The year is now 900 ABY. Years of service as a Jedi Knight has seen Caedyn become a capable fighter and practitioner of the Force; However, it has also stained his hands with the blood of countless others killed in the horrific conflict that is war. The Bryn'adul, The Brotherhood of the Maw, The Sith Order, The Eternal Empire and The First Order. Criminals, Pirates and rogue Force Users. The years of fighting have weighed heavily on the conscience of the Jedi Knight and most recently he has begun to feel the Force calling for a change in his path.

The Bo Staff of preservation is a silent vow to renew his purpose and return to the pacifistic ways that he first started out with. As the unnatural loss of life inflicts harm on the veil of the Force, and he as a Jedi has vowed to serve the Force, Caedyn has once again fashioned a new Staff to serve as an alternative to the use of the Lightsaber. This Staff will carry the strengthened presence of the Force wherever he may go, and stand as a personal reminder of the cost of losing one's way.

Very cool, love it! I found one problem, please add to the weaknesses what happens with the object under Force Suppression/Force Nullification effects.

Thank you Maniac, I have added the additional weakness explaining the likely outcome of a Force Nullification Field.
