As soon as the scream stopped Vrak managed to recover himself slightly. He could feel blood drip down the side of his neck on both sides, there was a loud ringing in his ear, and all hearing had completely passed him by. He felt dizzy, disorientated.
His head spun and he staggered slightly, his fingers attempting to catch the side of the cliff face in vain.
For a moment both of them were simply dumbstruck, either pelted by dozens of rocks or completely disoriented by a debilitating screech. Vrak scowled as he tried to grab onto something, steady himself, do...anything. His fingers curled into tight fists, his gaze managed to sweep towards her, seeing as the last of the stones broke off of her arms. A snarl passed over his lips as he saw her, the ringing in his ears seemingly growing louder as the force floodded him.
He pulled as much power as he could into himself, his bones beginning to ache.
Vrak didn't care anymore, this wasn't about manners or respect, it was simply about one thing; winning.
With a cry of pain Vrak unleashed one last surge of lightning from his fingers. A barrage powerful enough that it fell back upon him almost immediately singeing his fingers and burning into his arm.
