Prophet of Bogan

There was an almost imperceptible twitch of one of His arms as He watched just how close the Empress and the Neti were, a movement that was stifled and subdued by the hands clasped behind His. Hands which would have appeared rather tensed and strained had they been visible to any of the three around Him. A vestige of paranoia more so than anything else, but one that wasn't so easily squashed. A notion that was only dismissed by the almost nonchalant response that His apology was met with.
This Mercy was an enigmatic one indeed, it was no wonder she and A'Mia got along so well. Darth Strosius could only hum in subtle agreement at her mention of not wishing to stand in the way of whatever it was that the pair that had wound up binding them into conversation this day were planning. They'd somehow managed to get someone that He'd been crossed by twice before to stand before Him and converse without trying to cleave Him in two, an achievement that He frankly didn't think was possible until now.
Although He did have one final remark to make before the matter was fully settled. "In my defense, my dear Revna, it is quite an implication that you've been amicable with a Sith Empress given our current state of affairs regarding the wider 'Sith' of the galaxy. Guilt by association with myself and all that. I doubt you would ever believe me if I regaled you with my brief tale of touring the Malsheem alongside Carnifex, the damn tyrant himself." The masked man's attention settled onto the Neti once more, now that the pleasantries were out of the way.
He inclined His head as He listened intently to her set up of what was their apparent reason for this gathering, His golden eyes widening slightly behind the dark visor of His mask at what she proposed. Bringing about a Sith Golden Age was a lofty goal indeed, but one which admittedly had been entirely possible for some time now. It seemed as though A'Mia intended to be the one to finally put all the pieces together, and she wanted Him included as well.
Ignoring the fluttering in His chest, Revna echoed her sentiment and was rather more direct in that with the Covenant's might to aid them then they could very well finally rid the galaxy of their foes and pave the way for the Dark Side's final victory. A fanged grin split His face and for a moment He considered pinching Himself to check if He was dreaming, as though He ever had pleasant dreams. A noise slipped free from Darth Strosius before He smothered it with the clearing of His throat, a sound that was most akin to an almost excessively giddy chuckle.
Practicality had to come first before they got too ahead of themselves of course. The Covenant alone might very well not be enough to end the enemies of the Sith, and the Order of Wonosa certainly wouldn't be much help in adding to their strength. His own insight and strategic mind must have been what warranted Him a spot at this meeting then, given the lacking assets. "If we are to do as you say and bring about a Golden Age for our people, then we must be assured of our victory."
The masked man's hidden gaze trailed back to Mercy. "I must admit that I don't quite know the full extent and breadth of the forces at your disposal, but I do know what our enemies possess. The Kainate by itself is a formidable foe, the Malsheem is their ace and they will guard it well. With one of the Order's Legions under their command as well they boast a substantial horde of adversaries for us to face, and that's without considering what Raaf will aid them with as well. We should attempt to sway one of the other Legions to our cause before we engage the Kainites."
Darth Strosius looked between A'Mia and Revna with a measure of apprehension in His voice, not out of fear of their foe but out of His disbelief that they could gather any more allies or likeminded to their side. "The Second Legion under Councilor Gerwald is our best bet I believe. It's not impossible that the corpse or Lady Srina could side against Carnifex but I find it highly unlikely given how much free reign the Kainites act with, we'd need something quite tempting to gain their support. Gerwald is sensible and practical, he should be our focus."
