  • Affiliation: Ashlan Military Order of the Sacred Blades
  • Size: Medium (Contains the entire Cathedral and the area immediately surrounding)
  • Strength: Moderate
  • Accessibility: Being within the Citadel of the Blades, it is certainly very well-defended and guarded, however unlike most of the rest of the Citadel, access is generally open to anyone who is a faithful follower of Ashla and/or in balance with the Light Side of the Force, especially during special events and celebrations
  • Description: This force nexus inhabits a massive, towering cathedral, which sits atop the highest peak in the region and is visible for every eye in miles to see, It can be felt everywhere throughout the Cathedral and the immediately surrounding walkways and balconies, as well as the uppermost reaches of the Hallowed Catacombs.
NEXUS EFFECTS
The warmth of Ashla is immediately felt by a force user as they enter the Cathedral, and even many non-force-users can feel the affect the light side of the force has on their souls. Those who attune to the living force will be able to feel as Ashla flows through the Blades, the relics of those gone before, and those present today, and into the planet, fighting back the darkness that its long history has inflicted upon it. The Nexus provides light-sided force users with intense focus and calm as they meditate and pray to Ashla, while a dark-sider would feel discomfort as Ashla tugs at their soul, beckoning them to cast away Bogan.

POINTS OF INTEREST
  • BLADES CATHEDRAL
    • The entirety of the Cathedral is within the confines of the Nexus, as well as the immediately surrounding walkways and balconies, the rectory and meditation spots, and part of the bridge back towards the rest of the citadel.
    • Underneath the Cathedral (but not yet in the catacombs" is a small holding facility for darksiders or fallen blades who are soon to be released to cloister.
  • HALLOWED CATACOMBS
    • The part of the catacombs which actually includes graves and relics for distinguished blades and their swords is considered the source of the Force Nexus's energy, and is where the effects are the strongest

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The planet of Nathema has a long and tumultuous history, and even with the coming of the Ashlan Crusade, this didn't change. A series of massacres and atrocities between darksided remnants and fallen crusaders led to the Ashlan Church stepping in to stabilize the situation. For this purpose, they entrusted the planet to the Ashlan Military Order of the Sacred Blades, who arrived en force to contain both the fallen crusaders and the Zealots and cleanse the planet of its darkness, allowing the agriworld to thrive once more. One of the first things they did as things calmed down was to construct Blades' Citadel, and with it, Blades' Cathedral.

As it had been nearly a decade since the founding of the Order and it had grown and waned and grown in that time, they brought with them relics of some of the founding masters and many other powerful Blades who had achieved somewhat of a status of saintdom among the Order. The interment of these many Blades, and their force-imbued swords with them, all within a short period of time, create a strong concentration of light-sided energies in the area in and above these catacombs, which over the next year or so created a force nexus through which Ashla's light could reach the Blades.
