Lightsaber-rezistant, ultra-chrome edge can not be dulled, near-unbrekable.
Strengths:
- Balanced for 1 or 2 handed use, the blade is sligtly weigted tovard the front, alowing for higher power in slashes, useful for breking-thru guards or cutting thru heavy armor.
- As a solid blade, it can be used to block and deflekt solid projektiles like slugs and bullets, vhich a lightsaber can not do.
Weaknesses:
- Front-balance makes it harder to use for phizicaly-weaker individuals, due to momentum of the swings.
- Not able to cut thru the heavyest materijals like blast-doors and such, like a lightsaber can. It can stil cut thru many things, but not to the same degree.
DESCRIPTION
A Tremor Sword is a exotic varijant of a Sith Vibrosword, designed by the Bladeborn to be the perfekt anti-lightsaber weapon. Since the materijal kontains both cortosis and ultra-chrome, the weapon is completly impervius to lightsabers, even in pro-longed contact. As a sword in it-self, its design is a litle diferent from a typical long-sword varijant, vith more emphazis tovard power, over pure speed. The weapon can stil be used vith speed, but the front-balanced heavy blade makes it dificult to be used as such, for a user not strong enogh phizicaly. This fits-in the Bladeborn philozofy of phyzical power over relyance on the Force. For a un-trained or insuficiently-trained wilder, this is a akward weapon to use, and wil tire-out the user quickly. For a skilled and strong wilder, this is a very, very powerful blade, vith reach and power that puts most other similer-sized blades to shame. Agenst lightsabers, this weapon is devastating, not only becauze of its superior power, but also because cortosis can sometimes short-out a lightsaber blade on kontakt. It is less useful agenst ranged enemys, since it is more dificult to maneuver, becauze of its weigt. A strong and skiled user can stil make it work, tho.
In short, this isnt a weapon for novice swordsmen. It wil punish them badly, since it rekuires a strong arm and skill to use. That is why even among the Bladeborn, only the greatest warriors earn the privilige to use them. The rest use other, lighter and weaker varijants of cortosis-laced blades.
