Er'in Tenel created this lightsaber after refusing her Master's test that she corrupt a Kyber crystal, instead seeking to replicate the crystal using a crystal forge. The end result was unexpected - a black cored blade with a purple hue which could naturally enhance the use of dark side force powers used while wielding the blade. The resulting hilt in which the crystal was placed hilt is a work of art, forged with Sith Alchemy in order to make it resistant to being damaged or destroyed.
