Agreed. She had a few ideas and well if crytals were one of their most valuable things that they had large ones like this on diplay for all to see then she could only imagine what the one they kept hidden or protected did or were like. Slowly she et her hand on the windows searching for a way out until the doors opened and the smell of the grass wa out there. It was overgrown and wild but there was the feeling of the force radiating from the solar map while she was looking at it. THe plant slowly rotating and turning while she walked underneath it and pointed. "They are all o big and you can feel the force energies." She was moving a little with it but also looking for omewhere she could climb it maybe and get a better look. "Have you ever seen a crystal so large?"

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel shook her head. “Would such a large crystal have a purpose for the Jedi? And I don’t mean in a weapon, which is an obvious use. I was wondering if it might help with meditation. Perhaps in a chamber of some sort? I was wondering if I could rig one up on my ship. It might help me focus Force energy. What do you think?”

"In times past the ancient sith made ships with large crystals on them that allowed them to project their presence across entire sectors of the galaxy. It is possible but I don't know how one would need to set it up. Still it would be a cool thing to see and go around with galaxy with. I know my mother has been working into ways to make a meditation chamber that jedi can use to protect their abilities outward. For battle meditation if it is needed or for protecting a planet with the force by giving them the power and ability to reach out." She had a lot of ideas and found a small bar while she lept up and pulled herself as she was spinning with a nod of her head going over the thing. Slowly she reached up to touch it and it was warm to the touch from both the sun as well as the force when it reacted to her. "Hmm this is pretty cool and there are several of them."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel listened. The crystals certainly had many uses and most were grander than she had in mind. She laughed. “One big enough to boost a meditation chamber is large enough for me.”

She looked at her friend and wondered what she was doing. To the naked eye, it looked like a child’s climbing apparatus, or maybe a fitness aid — like they had in gyms. She grabbed a bar too. She felt the heat and wondered what was the cause.

“Interesting. Any ideas?”

"A few maybe." Orihime was looking at Sorel when she was climbing up and for the most part it seemed simple enough going into all of it. They could get to the top and then there was the roof of the building above that if they were good enough and quick enough. She was taking with some of the attention when she got to the center of it and crouched down waiting for Sorel to join her. "It is just.. if this is the planets then this is the sun and most of the bigger things we might be able to find." It was alsoa place that was stationary compared to the rest that was moving around slowly, information in script across the outside when the computer chimed that it was fifty percent done "The other idea that I had was we might be able to get to the roof and get a better view possibly of the place."

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel reflected on her journey here. She was trying to establish if the model star system was the one they were in now, or if it was a map to somewhere else. Given they arrived via hyperspace, she was unsure but made a mental note to check before they left.

"The roof sounds good." She looked around, wondering if there was an internal route but instead settled on the most convenient way. She walked over to one of the walls and grabbed a hand of an old vine that reached all the way to the roof. "This should work," she said as she began to climb.

With a nod at Sorel Orihime smirked to herself before she was moving with more attention to the smaller things. Reaching out with the force when she was up onto the roof with a small grin of her face. She climbed up it getting a hand on the ledge of the roof and pulling herself up while she sat there a smile appearing on her face. "THis place is very nice." she was looking out upon the campus from the roof of the building before she went ot he other edge looking out over all of it. Buildings that were showing several windows and a stadium she could see cracks of going into it. An amphitheater that had a stage until she moved over to join Sorel and whipped out the index witht he computer as the translation was completed and Orihime held it up for them. "Quiet finished, we should be able to learn their language."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel made short work of the climb. The plant was sturdy enough and so she travelled confidently and was soon on the roof with her friend.

The view was interesting. Not precisely ruins but not an intact town either. But she was shaken from her sight-seeing by the news that the translator had finished its work.

"Can we set it to work translating all they knew about the crystals? And can we learn the language as we go along?"

A good question and thinking about it well... yes they could learn as they went. Orihime's comprehension skills with the force were top notch like her mothers and she chewed on her lower lip inside her mouth for a moment thinking about it when she gave a nod of her head. "Yes we can, my mother taught me how to read and learn languages fast in case of emergencies." She offered a smile while holding it up and looking over the different things there while the language was being taught by quiet and the sun started to set in the sky. A small look of concern on her face but not much as they had plenty of lights and there didn't seem to be a chill in the air. Orhime continued to listen to Quiet when she was giving them all of the information needed and her pupils were dilated wide totake in all of the information.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel's face beamed. "You know how to read and learn languages quickly? You know what I'm going to say next...is that something you can teach me?" Sorel's thirst for knowledge would never be quenched. Not that she learned for the sake of it, but practical knowledge and skills? She had all the time in the world for them.

But first she listened to Quiet and like Orihime, she was silent, not wishing to miss a single shred of information as she lapped up the knowledge.

Looking at her with a similar beaming on her face she gave a nod of her head. "yes, my mom taught me so we could learn in the archives quickly as opposed to just waiting around and listening it... also helps in case of a new species encounter so we can quickly learn what they are saying." Though how to teach it was different for everyone as she brought the datapad over with all of it streaming and focused on Sorel. "Alright the first though you need to do it focus and look at what you are reading or learning. Then look past it to your own mind and focus on you thoughts, your ability to process the information and remember it. From there infuse it with the force so the natural processes work at a speed no one else can match and then start reading and learning what there is information wise."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was impressed. Very impressed. To use the Force to learn quicker? Why hadn't she considered that?

So she focused on the data and did as Orihime suggested. Initially nothing happened. Sorel suspected she was trying to force things and the Force rarely seemed to work for her when she had this approach. So she relaxed and focused again on what Orihime had said and pulling the Force to her, she made sure she shared with it her need and her approach.

Sure enough she began to read a little faster and realised the information was being imprinted on her mind. She wasn't going at the pace of Orihime, but she had only just started and did not underestimate the need to practice. She never did.

"Awesome," she managed at a natural break in the reading. "I owe you one."

Offering her a smile on her face while she was reading it as well and the padawans could look over everything with the ideas when she gave a bow of her head. "We shall be able to work with some of the things here no." There was a small look on her face going over the bigger things before she was looking at everything with it. "Alright I think I am reading it correctly." she was looking at some of the signs for the building. "This is their crystal research buildings, they have them for students and those are housings for them." She gave a nod and it sounded good when she checked out the map again. "Alright I am seeing some places, there is a city hall where we had been and this is a school."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel listened. "If it were me, I'd spend all my time looking at the crystals and researching them. But there must be so many other places to visit. Is there something you would particularly like to find?"

Sorel looked thoughtful for a moment. "Although I'd like to see if there is a hangar or spaceport here. I like to see different ships and also like to raid parts for my ship."

She was looking at her and thinking about it... a space port seemed harder then she thought. It looked like they didn't have any and the structure on the moon was primitive compared to the rest. "I don't know if they have ports but..." she trailed off looking at the map they had found and the information about it. "Alright there is something for astral research here on their campus. This school has another building." She said it pointing towards some of the others around with everything they could do. "We can run there and look at their stuff but I am not seeing a space port, they might have been on the verge of making such a thing or early exploration programs given the structure on the moon."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was slightly crestfallen at the news of the lack of a starport, but picked up at news of astral research. Information and knowledge about the galaxy really excited her too.

"I'd love to see the research facility, but let's go somewhere you'd like to see first."

[member="Sorel Crieff"]

Hmm now where would she like to go first. The research building was an important thing to go and see when she was approaching a few of the things. Using the force to soften the blow when she jumped down to cushion her fall and slow it all down. She had an idea where they could go and aside from the research building here for geology which was nice it let her know hibridium crystals were on the planet and could be used for making stealth cloaks as well as the mineral that they were using that absorbed energy and her sample was still glowing now while she walked. Some of the better ideas to it all there was a paranormal studies deaprtment she was guessing was how they studied things like the force maybe or maybe ghosts... who knew.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was never surprised when she and Orihime shared a Jedi Ability - given her Master was her best friend's mother. It made sense they'd learn similar things. So she was a split-second behind Orihime as she jumped from the roof - and slowed and therefore cushioned her landing with the aid of the Force.

Paranormal studies? In Sorel's experience (albeit limited due to her age) that covered almost everything and nothing. When you used and faced the Force on a daily basis, and spoke to Jedi dead for thousands of years, what was left to be preternatural? But other socieities had different views and vastly different experiences.

"This should be fun," she said as she fell into step with her friend. "Who knows what we'll find?"

There was an agreement in that while she was moving, her attention to the building when she opened the door as inside it seemed to be filled with statues of different creatures... No races. Orihime was looking over some of the things and plaques were in front of each as she could see A Kwa standing tall as well as a Gree but there wasn't many of the other species they had seen. Judging by what she knew of history the two were in contention for the galaxy minus of course wherever the older species were as she spoke. "This is a Gree and a Kwa.... If they were around here or visited they likely left the worlds. No technological value on the world and according to these they are cryptids. Legends from their ancestors with some of the others here." Orihime moved to the different species she could see and there was one that looked like a star fish thing as she touched it. "This looks like a Silentium but organic." She seemed confused for a moment though looking at it. "If I remember the history their creators died but they possessed the ability to spread across galaxies. They might have come here or around and this is a.... a." She was trying to think about it as the name was there. They were older then many understood as she looked at what was there. "K'kybak"

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was duly impressed. Not for the first time Orihime had shown remarkable knowledge of creatures. Sorel reflected this aspect of her learning was lacking and once she could, she would spend some time when in hyperspace studying the most common of creatures and then working through the list for as long as it took. It helped that she had a good memory, so she was lucky in that regard. And with Orihime teaching her speed reading, she could cover the learning even quicker.

"You're good, I'll give you that. I recognise only one or two of these and couldn't tell you their names. Are any significant in any way?"
