Description: Black Armory Ltd is the brainchild of Ordan Vosk. After serving as a member of the Black Sun Syndicate he decided it would be equally profitable for him to embark on a personal venture and create his own company as a source of renewed revenue. Ordan decided to base Black Armory Ltd on the planet Sleheyron where he'd participated in the battle that had brought the planet under the influence of the Black Sun. While the primary industry of Sleheyron is the slave trade, as well as the refining of tibanna gas, Ordan felt that the presence of a smaller company with ties to neither of these industries would not be threatening to the other corporations already present. After all Black Armory Ltd isn't biting into any of the profits from local business merely creating a new venue for those who already sample the market on Sleheyron...
Black Armory Ltd specializes in two things. As a relatively small corporation, at this point, it is actually quite adept at taking pre existing technology, reverse engineering it, and then selling it under a generic name at a lower cost. It's likely this would be frowned upon in the business world but at the moment no one is making noise over it. Secondly, and more importantly, Black Armory Ltd designs their own weapons armor for use by the Black Suns as well on the open market. All Black Armory designs are available the difference being that the Black Sun are admitted access to these goods freely whereas other factions, or those not aligned with the Black Suns, are required to broker their own deals with the company itself. Usually this isn't very difficult but equipment will need to be bought at an inflated price.
Black Armory is a literal melting pot of disgraced scientists, designers, engineers and others whose ideas were seen as to outlandish or whose reputations were to tarnished to net them work at any of the larger corporations. The designers that work for the Black Armory have no morals and don't care if their weapons are used against a military or civilian population; the credits are there and so are they. Once a design leaves the table and enters the manufacturing phase it's out of their hands.
