  • Role: A Guardian & War Mount.
  • Links: Ice Wolf

  • PHYSICAL INFORMATIONAge: Four years.
  • Species: Ice Wolf
  • Sex: Male
  • Height: 150cm
  • Length: 190cm
  • Weight: 300Kg's.
Appearance:

Bjomolf is little short of a giant among Ice Wolves, standing at a height matching that of an Ursa (Bear), this great Wolf is the dominant hunter of the Iceland tundra's. His notable distinctions that set him apart from many other creatures are the firey main that stands tall from the crook of his skull running down to his mid back, matching the color of his tail.

His biggest weapon are his claws and teeth, great burly fangs that fall down atop his lower lip when his massive maw is closed, his jawline is immense and well muscled allowing for great strength in his bite, his teeth like knives, honed from the hunt of each passing day.

The Beasts torso and general form shows little in the way of fat, more muscle built and intimidating to any typical humanoid, this creature of a pale white pelt that blends with it's snowfield homelands is a born and bred predator of which nature demands the respect of all when looking upon such a sight.

SOCIAL INFORMATIONPersonality:
Bjomolf is a fiercely territorial predator, rough around the edges but loyal and almost possessive of those whom earn the beasts trust. He is a wild animal by all rights, bonded with Ylva Solveig through the pairs rather feral lifestyles, mutual respect for the way of the hunt and the natural order of things outside of sentient design. While it will not obey Ylva like some house trained pet, Bjomolf will kill to protect her.

Outside of the pairs connection gained with one another, this IceWolf is a monster in proportions to the rest of it's kind, an alpha and a dominant beast though far removed now from it's natural hunting grounds; the beast has a sort of pride about it that can be bruised by the loss of a well fought for meal. When threatened or angered, that pride turns to ferocity and the absence of fear, looking to tackle it's foe down no matter the size or scale of the coming battle.

Training:
  • Skilled Tracker - Can use it's sense of smell to track down friend or foe.
  • Agile Climber - Using it's sharp claws and muscular frame, the Wolf can climb as well as any feline.
  • Fetch - Be it a stick, a body or a blaster, Bjomolf can find and return many items of value by Ylva's request.
  • Kill - The Command to finish off the life of it's prey, most often leaving a mess in the beasts wake.
  • Sit, Roll over, Play Dead - The best tricks in the book are the older ones, these are fan favorites to any Dog Lover.
Combat Function: [Combat is difficult to avoid -- after all, this is Chaos. Should your NPC wind up in combat, what would they be good at? How would they work alongside you, or would they be a liability? Please include relevant strengths and weaknesses. The Combat Function line also helps assure us that you won't be abusing this NPC.]

The primary goal for Bjomolf in combat is to give Ylva a realistic edge over others of greater technologies or Force capable fighters. The Wolf is to be Ylva's WarMount for fast paced travel across the field of war. It's strength and speed is not unnatural for it's size and mass, yet capable of dismembering a man with it's claws, tearing into flesh and otherwise rushing into the enemy with all it's weight and colliding against the opposition, this great beast is no different from most other animals aside from it's having taken a liking to Ylva Solveig.

Strengths:
  • High Mobility - This is a beast of the wilds, born and bred to learn how to hunt and kill it's prey. The IceWolf is no different, using it's strong build to carry it forward, able to climb, sprint and survive in may different terrains and climates.
  • Excellent Tracker - Skilled in tracking down the scent of it's prey or a friend/foe of Ylva's provided it has some form of clue to initially go on, this beast is most at home in the wilds where others would typically lose their way.
  • Guardian Spirit - This great beast is as protective of Ylva Solveig as it is feral. Given the right incentive, the great wolf can be vicious and bloodthirsty, showing little fear or hesitance to kill whomever so threatens them. For those friends of Ylva however that might be fortunate enough to befriend Bjomolf, they too would find a guardian in the hound.
Weaknesses:
  • Animal Instinct - The intelligence of the wild is not the same as the intelligence of the sentient kind. Bjomolf is no humanoid capable of advanced thought but beholden very much to his animal instincts, he can be fooled by quick thinkers and fellow beast masters.
  • Naught but the Gods gave me - Armed only with the offensive capabilities the great wolf was born with, aside from it's temper in battle, there is nothing overly unusual about the way this great beast goes on the attack and thus can be predictable.
  • Weak Points - Like all living things, go for the throat, cut off the head or target the heart and it will fall.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Upon the world of Nirauan, Ylva Solveig had sort to escape the great rock by sneaking aboard a merchants vessel destined to crash land upon the world of Roxuli during which [member=Théodred Heavenshield] and the Legions of the Iron Empire were besieging the Chiss insurrection there.

Dropped from orbit to come erupting through the atmosphere a ball of flames, the vessel plummeted and slammed into the desert world where Ylva's path alongside the Iron Empire would soon begin.

The course of the great battle lasted little over a day and after a feast to celebrate the hard earned victory, Ylva decided she would revisit the vessel's wreckage that she had stowed herself away upon, this time seeking to scavenge for parts or anything she could make use of. It just so happened that the merchant ship she had boarded not knowing the wiser, was a poachers vessel en-route to Illum and first making a stop to refuel and do trade with the Chiss before continuing on their way.

Over the course of the hours that would follow in her investigation of the derelict vessel, Ylva's attention would be taken by the sounds of life coming from one of the storage holds. Seeking to find the source, what she came upon were the trophies of these illicit hunters; pelts of all kinds of leathers lay stacked in crates, weapons and bone mantles cut from the heads of their victims and to Ylva's astonishment, there in a cage was a Wolf Pup...-A Pup of rather unbelievable size as it already rose to stand at her hip upon all fours.

Rescuing the pup from captivity and what would be certain death without her intervention, Ylva would make it her intention to encourage the little beast to learn to survive on it's own while hunting with her in the wilds, teaching it how to fight and fend for itself, all the while becoming attached to the little guy who would unexpectedly outgrow her some day and stand as her Guardian Spirit and one of her most trusted companions.
