DESCRIPTION
The exact specifications of each Form are outlined below:
Civilian Form - The Civilian is intended to be the biot's primary interface with galactic society. It is the most intelligent of the forms, possessing access to all of the biot's higher knowledge. Strength, reflexes, and speed of this form are at the level of a normal human. All repairs take a minimum of fifteen minutes to complete, with more serious damage requiring hours of recovery time. Combat is to be avoided while in this form due to its physical limitations.
Warrior Form - The Warrior is a fearsome fighter with superhuman battle prowess. Her combat programming is fully active, giving her access to a wide variety of martial arts, though knowledge of subjects outside of combat is restricted as a result. Reflexes, speed, and strength are increased by a factor of four. This form repairs quicker than the others, but it still takes several minutes to regenerate severe damage.
Infiltrator Form - The Infiltrator is designed for stealth. It is capable of taking on a malleable, shapeless near-liquid form, enabling it to move through small spaces with ease. Much like the Civilian Form, its strength and speed in this mode are not ideal for combat; its regeneration rate is similarly stunted, but it has access to utilitarian skills and knowledge such as piloting, slicing, and how to repair (or sabotage) various technologies.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Biot tissue composed of DNA from Shi'ido, Vong Masquers, and Arch Psy-Pire
- Shi'ido and Masquer DNA grants the biot regenerative and limited shapeshifting capabilities, including the ability to mimic clothing.
- Psy-Pire DNA gives the biot a vampiric source of nourishment, feeding on psychic energies to sustain itself.
- Superhuman speed, strength, and reflexes in Combat Form.
- Capable of using knowledge cartridges to increase knowledge in various areas.
- Force-resistant (though not immune).
- Regeneration: The biot can regenerate its flesh, regrowing lost limbs and tissue. Its rate of regeneration is dependent on its form.
- Mage Killer: The biot was designed to have a fighting chance against any opponent, including Force Users. Specialized glands on its body based off of research into ysalimiri Force-canceling bubbles render it highly resistant to telekinesis and mental attacks, though not immune.
- Superhuman: The biot possesses great strength, speed, and reflexes far beyond that of a normal human... albeit only when it is in its Combat Form.
- Changeling: The biot has shapeshifting capabilities, but is limited to humanoid forms.
- Learning and Adapting: The biot is capable of learning new skills and acquiring knowledge, whether through experience or the use of knowledge cartridges. However, both combat programming and "higher knowledge" pertaining to specialized fields is restricted depending on which form the biot is using.
- Even the Smallest Body Functions: The biot's internal structures are designed to imitate that of a human. It mimics them so well that most medical scanners will be fooled. It can also pass some medical testing, such as blood tests, by mimicking the blood of a human.
WEAKNESSES
- Terminated: Despite its advantages, the biot is vulnerable to virtually all forms of damage. Attacking it with blasters, lightsabers, vibroblades, ion, sonic, acid, disruptors, etc., will cause it harm, and if it sustains enough damage it will shut down and/or be destroyed.
- Water: While a puddle will not harm it, dropping the biot into a large body of water will cause its cells to swell, eventually reducing it to an amoeba-like state.
- Salt: Causes the biot's cells to shrivel upon exposure, resulting in a phobia of even common table salt.
- Vong Origins: The biot's tech is based on Vong biots, and it therefore possesses their weaknesses, including:
- Bafforr Pollen: Will force the biot's body into a semi-liquid state with slowed down movement.
- Unmaskers: Cause the biot's body to harden like stone, rendering it immobile.
- Mode Locked: The biot can shift into three different forms to suit the needs of any given situation, but these each harbor drawbacks as well as benefits. It takes roughly seven minutes to transition between these forms, and during that period the biot is rendered immobile and vulnerable. See the Appearance section for more info on each form.
- Must Feed: It must feed on "psychic energies" (basically a form of Force essence in the form of memories) at least once every five days in order to continue functioning. Its ability to feed is not restricted by its form, nor is it required to kill its prey in order to be sufficiently nourished. Depending on how much activity it engages in, such as transforming from one form to another or sustaining significant damage, they may need to feed sooner than that. Should it fail to procure fresh energies before it runs out, it will become immobile and eventually shut down.
- Creepy: Those who are inclined to be suspicious will notice that the biot still seems slightly off, exhibiting behaviors that are not quite human. This makes relationships difficult to forge and maintain, and it will quickly become attached to anyone who shows it kindness.
