Culture: One of the more notable features of culture shared between the rather strange Bintir'boise and the Chil'inoda'sno, is that almost every population is surrounded by a wall of snowman, to keep the clumsy pests of the Bintir'boise out. The Chil'inoda'sno are renowned for their very celebratory nature, with a very long year full of all sorts of holidays. Most of them are minor, and are merely meant to cheer up the dreary existence of the Chil'inoda'sno. It is part of the peoples culture to create warmth where none can be seen. The Bintir'boise were originally seen as pest when they first came around in 837 ABY, but they soon learned that they enjoyed conversing with inanimate snowmen... thus they made a wall of them, and then made it a nightly festival to watch the snowmen interact with their barriers. The Chil'inoda'sno have a very unique language, that they have shared with the inhabitants of the other worlds of the Forsesin'vund'alan'plisis system.

They have very little in the means of history, beyond folk lore and legends. They don't rely very much on laws, and they rather use a village elder to settle dispute. War is... unheard of here. To them, it is a waste of warmth to send able bodies to make warm things cold. To them, the cold should be left alone, and the warm should be made warmer. However, despite this they are notorious for their rough edges, and straight forward nature; the saying of a tough exterior with a soft center is very true in this case. They won't take any shenanigans from anyone, unless it's in good cheer.

Technology: The technology is sufficient enough to provide habitable homes in the less desolate regions of the "Vund'alan" as they call the planet. They are also capable of space travel, but this is a rare sight due to the desolate conditions of their planet and the others in the system. Very few will be hyperdrive capable, in which case it is even more likely that particular ship will be foreign.

History: Human settlers long ago, like a great many other offshoots of the highly adaptable race, were sent to this world like so many others to populate the galaxy with humans, when at the time Cryosleep seed ships were the only means of expanding your empire, before the advent of the hyperdrive. They made this world their home, and rather than succumbing to the harsh world decided that they would make the best of it. They eventually came to create their own dialect of Basic, that rapidly thereafter became almost unrecognizable from the galactic standard due to their isolation. Their isolation would last thousands and thousands of years, untouched by raging worlds across the galaxy due to their seclusion in the unknown regions. Additionally, they were not plagued by pirate lords, due to the desolate environment and because of their take on face value, that the world is worthless.

However though, they were eventually rediscovered, and reintroduced to the galaxy as a whole a little bit at a time. The world and its people are rather unimportant to the rest of the galaxy at large, and they are willing to accept this fact and move on, and even celebrate their mediocrity. They don't need to be a special snowflake, because they alone know that they may be unique to the galaxy, but they are still just one buried under an uncountable 'unique' things in the universal blanket of wonder. There is truth in what they say, having been protected by hostility and the face value of death worlds. For them, the isolation wasn't so bad, as it was after all the only thing they knew. They didn't like change to much, being very accustomed to their ways of life on their own planets. Interplanetary tourism has always been a rarity for the unbelievably fortunate.

These thousands of years of isolation kept the the system safe from piracy and war, and kept the cultured region alive and well, full of celebration. However, roughly between 350 ABY and 450 ABY when the mysterious entity's of the NEW GALAXY REBUILDING PLAN (NGRP), scoured the galaxy for broken worlds they happened upon the odd little system of Farsesin'vund'alan'plisis. Looking upon the four worlds, they saw one trapped in a cyclical struggle to grow beyond scarcity, another scourged in heat, the next trapped in a cycle of death, and finally the last consumed by frost. Each held its hostility to sentient life, and thus it was their prerogative to change them to something more hospitable. Though, upon reaching the outermost world they found a surprise: happily living people. The advanced technology displayed by the NGRP upon landing upon a settlement of Chil'inoda'sno awed the simple humans, whose mastery of that technology was rare, and secluded only to interplanetary travel of those who were beyond imagination very rich. They never knew such faster than light travel was possible, having never been exposed to in all of their history, and being so isolated by the troubles of their four worlds.

The NGRP questioned the worlds, and found that the seemingly deadly worlds were in fact to these people perfect. To them, each represented a lesson to be learned: Sprihn taught the sacredness of life, Somir taught responsibility, Atum taught the beauty of nature, and Bintir taught the importance of warm embrace. Despite each worlds afflictions, each world's people were in love with the soil of their homelands, and from it generated their own cultures and responsibilities to not only survive, but to live in the cruelty of the planets. Convinced that these worlds were not in fact, broken, the NGRP decided to move on to other, more completely destroyed worlds still left in the galaxy. They left a small gift to each Vund'alan specific to their peoples that advanced them enough to maintain a moderate communication with the rest of the galaxy, to which casual trading began. That was, until the galaxy suddenly went dark, and once again the Farsesin'vund'alan'plisis was obscured from society and isolated.

It would be four hundreds years more before something happened. The NGRP had at the time, a modest degree of Jedi volunteer assistance in the project to heal the galaxy at large. Thus, when communications were first being lifted in all the quadrants of the galaxy, a young Jedi had become transfixed by the apparent majesty of the NGRP's report of the supposedly unimportant star system, not needing of Reconstruction efforts. He eventually came to believe and theorize that the people were happy due to a strange nexus of the force on each world, that made the harsh conditions permanent. His theory largely had credibility in the strange situation of the worlds Sprihn and Atum, who were in a peculiar perpetual balance of life and death (though they were each others opposites). Becoming obsessive with knowledge, the Jedi became clouded with the ambition of knowledge, and fell to the dark side to pursue similar nexus's of the force. He became a Lord of the Sith, and in the year 837 ABY he got on Bintir with a sleuth of bounty hunters after him.

He reached one of the poles, and regardless of his hunters and the fear they would sow in the populace after the wider galaxy and "vund'atec" being considered folk legend and ancient myths after hundreds of years of yearly celebration. This was not expected in them, to have an variety of entity's bearing similar technological levels as the benevolent NGRP to while being so hostile and cold surprised them. One thing was for sure though, the galaxy was real and not just myth. When the bounty hunters gave up, they left the planet and the rumor of the strange people living in the stranger system came about, tourist went to see the majesty of the worlds. What a shock they would find, in the... odd creations of that fateful Sith Lord.

Using all of his mastery of the dark arts and magic, and drawing upon the soft well of force energy emanating from the planet, the Sith Lord poured in everything he had to create the monstrosity had so dreamed of. It was meant to be a being of unlimited cryogenic ability, to freeze the galaxy solid in its wake of destruction. He had plans to create similar things on the other worlds, but that was cut short when he most likely killed himself for the ineptitude of such a major disappointment to the "monster" he created: a possessed, harmless, rather stupid snowman. It is likely he had never witnessed it get angry before, but all the same he probably killed himself because of the initial shock of failure. Since then, the snowmen have been given the name of Bintir'boise, and culture has boomed with the discovery that they enjoy the company of inanimate snowman surrounding their villages from the Bintir'boise pest.

Communications have now resumed with the odd snowball in the sky, along with its counterpart Vund'alan peoples.

Notable PC's: @Fatty

Intent: To create a winter wonder land! But more seriously, to create a cultural region, where the four planets will represent the four seasons. Bintir'vund'alan shall be the homeworld of the iconic Bintir'boise, and the other "vund'alans' shall house other races of strange variety.

Otherwise, looks cool, but...

I see you have already made the species submission, too. Please link the species name to the submission of the species.

Culture section is a bit short. Please add more to it.

History section seems a bit short, too. Remember, the more information you give us, the easier it is to RP on the planet. Also, the last paragraph of the History section should be moved to the Culture section as it is basically a general overview of the people of this planet.

Bah! I had a good history going and then I closed my window, and I guess posts don't save during editing. At any rate, 2/3 of the edits are done, just need to lengthen the editing. To give you an idea of what I was writing about, I'm going into a contact story revolving around the mysterious unknown project that went around fixing broken worlds, and leaving this system alone due to the inhabitants love their home as it is.

I was also going into how it got reintroduced, with that Sith Lord who made the Bintir'boise, and how it relates to this age now.

Would that be sufficient with the edits I have down now?

Haha! I did it, nice full history :D

[member="Maria Zambrano"] Sorry to post again after you already approved it, but it's been awhile and I think it may have to do with the fact that the tag is not "Pending Approval". The species has been accepted so I figured this would be too, but it wasn't so I'm informing you :)
