Between Friends...[Rasu]

Everyone who knew Sochi, knew she was all about progress. Training was something she did for fun, it seemed odd, but that's just how she was. She had made it public once more that she was looking for sparring partners. She received notification that one of her best friends had taken interest. Every since their promotion they had been so busy with training, and mission assigned by the council. The last time they saw each other it was during the Dominion of Iridonia. Quite some time ago.

They would gather on Tython for a sparring match just like when they were padawans. There was a grove, outside, some miles away, that Sochii occupied while she awaited her arrival, she had sent her the coordinates before hand, and it wasn't too far off from the temple located there. Since her promotion Sochi wasn't as conservative anymore, atleast when it came to close that is. Usually one would find her in her layers of robes, with her traditional Togruti sash upon her long skirt. That wasn't the case anymore.

Now Sochi adorns a cream backless top with a deep V-front (that shows her both bare back and shoulders) and brown straps around her midriff that seem to accentuate her chest and bellybutton. She has a light brown loincloth and homemade bikini bottom. She also sports a bit of gray cloth wrapped around her feet (that shows both her bare toes and heels) and most of it around both leg calves (that shows her right knee) and left forearm (with a couple silver spikes on it). Brown straps she's tied around her lekku and montrals that are now long enough that they almost reach the ground behind her.

She sits in meditation, awaiting the arrival of her long lost friend. @[member="Rasu Gan"]

Rasu couldn't wait. She had answered Sochi Ru's request for a sparring partner only an hour ago, and she hadn't been able to sit still since then. It had been quite a while since she had seen her best friend Sochi, but that didn't matter. All that mattered now was that here, on Tython, they would meet again, two friends would clash lightsabers and one would stand victorious. The Shi'ido was extremely competitive, and during her apprenticeship, her Master still had been unable to drive it out of her. The pair had first met at a sparring session where they had to abruptly stop due to a serious burn wound inflicted on the Shi'ido by the Togruta's blade. Since then, Rasu had been itching to finally complete the duel.

Leaving the Jedi enclave, Rasu began to navigate through the dense forest, eventually leading to a small clearing which Sochi had booked for their sparring match. Brushing her blue, Twi'lek hand over an overhanging leaf, the Shi'ido made her way over to her friend where she sat on the lush, green grass, meditating.

Gently tapping her on the shoulder, Rasu spoke softly to her friend, hoping to bring her out of her trance, "Sochi, are you ready?"

Sochi felt the tap on her shoulder and it signaled her eyes to open. She immediately took on an subtle smile because she knew who this person was. It had been quite some time, they've been so busy they just hadn't had time like this to spend with one another. Not only could this be a sparring match, but a time for them to catch up. Sochi slowly stood up and turned to greet her long lost friend.

"Rasu! It's so great to see you" she said smiling, as she reached out and hugged the girl.

Sochi knew that not only had they grown, and matured since their padawanship some time ago, but she knew they had obtained more skills, and were more capable fighters since last time they sparred. This would prove knowledgeable for them both. Sochi kept her welcoming smile, and motioned towards the rest of the area they had for their upcoming match.

"I'm ready, are you? We have this entire area for our match." She said softly before turning and taking acouple of steps towards the center of the opening.

Sochi slowly opened her eyes at the Shi'ido's gentle touch, leaving her meditation to look up at her friend. Rasu opened her arms to accept the Togruta's hug, adjusting her head so not to get jabbed by the drooping head-tails. It truly had been so long since the pair had been together, the Shi'ido could have sworn her friend had grown slightly, either that or her head-tails had become a lot more acute.

"It really is, it's been far too long since our last encounter and at least this time is under a lot more calm and friendlier conditions." she said, thinking back to their trip to Iridonia and their clash with the giant Gorax. Rasu hadn't been paying much attention then to Sochi's fighting, focusing much more on staying alive then observing her friend, so today she would get to see how much more her friend had advanced her skills. Following Sochi's arm, she gazed out at the clearing, a perfect spot for where they could spar and avoid being interrupted from any Jedi errands that might suddenly appear.

Replying to Sochi's question, Rasu said, "Of course, I've been looking forward to this. Now it's time to see who out of Master S'hadar's disciples is stronger." A large grin grew on her face. She knew that neither of them really cared who was the better fighter, today it was all about having a good time and catching up, with a friendly sparring match to get the blood pumping. Following Sochi to the middle of the clearing, Rasu placed both her hands on either side of her hips, one hand resting over her twin lightsabers. One new accessory that her friend had yet to see her use.

"Yes, let us see." She said before taken her leave, turning around and walking just a few more feet away to give them both some room. She bowed to show her respect. And she gripped her lightsaber hilt and held it in her right hand.

Sochi stared for a moment, just preparing herself to be ready for the upcoming battle, then she ignited her blue blade. It shone with a blue glow that shrouded just a small portion of her lower waist, and upper thigh. She had been recently wanted to train a specific ability she learned. She didn't assume a stance just yet. She was beginning to utilize a Force Form; specifically Potency. This would enhance her ability to strike with the force.

Once she felt ready, she imbued her weapon with the force, and plunged it into the ground in front of her, sending tremors through the soil in an large radius towards Rasu. This marked her first attack, after this she shut down her sustained Force Form, because using this particular one too much for too long would drain her.

Taken aback by the sudden show of strength and power shown by the Togruta's Force imbued attack, Rasu was only just able to leap into the air to dodge the violent earth tremors. I've been gone a long time it seems if I haven't noticed Sochi get this strong, Rasu thought in disbelief. While in mid-air, the Shi'ido activated her twin lightsabers, green and yellow blades covering her body in it's radiant light, and sent herself tumbling down towards Sochi, realising that if she was going to win she couldn't underestimate her friend. Landing softly on a patch of grass in front of the Togruta, Rasu feinted a blow, swinging her lightsaber towards her friends head before stopping abruptly. Diving under her friends opened legs, the Shi'ido appeared behind her and again swung her yellow blade, Sochi's hip glowing golden as the weapon inched closer and closer.

She looked on as the ground trembled beneath them. She quickly pulled her saber out of the ground, and held it in a ready position almost simultaneously with Rasu's leap into the air, she tightened her hands around her lightsaber hilt, holding her cerulean blade horizontally near her right shoulder as the girl came down in front of her. Sochi immediately brought up her guard to prepare to block the attack that was a feint; she had indeed fell for it. Quickly realizing that it wasn't a real move she hadn't enough time to react before Rasu slid between her legs, and began to attack from behind. Not having enough tipi e to block, Sochi used the force to leap over the attack, it barely missing her. When she landed, she was within a crouched position. She leaped up once more, performing a front flip in the air, she came down with an aerial attack, after that move met her opponent she flipped behind her and maneuvered her blade so that it quickly went underneath her armpit, plunging her weapon behind her, going in for a blow towards Rasu's back,
