Beskar Mining

General Information​

Hello guys! So as the title says this will be a mining endeavor for Mandalorian Iron, or Beskar. I'm primarily looking for a character, group of characters, or company, for Arlan to hire for the actual mining process. I would prefer to hire a fledgling organization over a larger company so they have first dibs on a development thread, I know how hard it is to get things rolling when you just start a company after all. This will be less of a combat oriented thread and more simple development, but since it will be in Open Role-Playing anything can happen.

What I'm Looking For​

• I really, and I can't stress this enough, am looking for steady Role-Play partners to endure the thread from beginning to end. I understand real life gets hectic, but there's nothing worse than starting a great Role-Play on to have your partners disappear mid-thread.
• Smaller companies and less established characters. I want the participants of this Role-Play to be relatively unknown in the Galaxy. No admirals, senators, crime lords, things like that.
• The thread doesn't end when we reach the material requirement, it ends when the story concludes.
• Character development. No thread, even mining ones, should be undertaken without the hopes of decent character development in mind.

I've been waiting for something like this. I'm very interested in providing food - mostly sweets that will help enchant a mining experience. I have a lot of time so I can be here all day for providing food or general in character emotional help.

Well I can offer up two characters to help with this operation. Gray here, although I don't know how well known he is around the site, and my alt [member="Briar Thorn"] who is a mechanic/salvager that is unknown right now. He is young but hard working and got talent.

The thread itself will be open, but I'm attempting to put together the actual story for the thread rather than just saying "Herp de Derp let's go get Beskar." I want a cohesive and rational plot that actually makes sense for this character, as well as all others involved. This isn't just a material grab thread, it's another step in Arlan's story and I want to do it credit.

The Carrion Company will be providing the main branch of security for this operation, but an experienced specialist would certainly be hired should you be interested. From an IC standpoint that just means you'll be coordinating with Carrion Company NPC's.

Either character is fine, though I would rather have a salvage tech on the crew than having to NPC the whole thing.
