Berries and Branches [Open]

It had been a long day out in the wilderness of Voss, and now after much adventure Abaigeal is hungry and tired. She ran up the steps of the Silver Temple, leaves stuck in her hair .. mud on her face and shoes and as she entered the Temple, she left a tell tail sign of her arrival all over the pristine marble floor.

There are many Jedi traversing the floor none of which she recognised as yet, but that did not worry her. She stopped mid way and looked up at the pretty blue crystal in the middle of the room. The light of day sparkling on it's facets sending light to the walls and ceiling. Her eyes widened each time she saw it .. it was simply so beautiful.

She shifted in her Jedi robes, pulling them around her to try and be as neat as possible, but the result was that they unfolded and fell open. Oh never mind, she thought, she hates wearing clothes anyway, much preferring her natural form which comes from her father as he is part Cathar.

Abaigeal walked closer her stomach growling with the pang of hunger, "Mummy!", she yelled at the top of her voice. "I am hungry!", she continued not caring who heard.

The introductions had been made, and he was now officially a member of the Silver Jedi ranks. The members who had recently greeted him had now dispersed and gone about their buisness, leaving him standing before the giant blue crystal at the centre of the grand hall. But not long after he had been left alone, a loud and youthful "Mummy!" echoed through the room. It almost startled the man, who upon turning around found a small child, hardly wearing anything at all. Needless to say, this was unexpected to say the least.

Confused for a moment, he looked around to see if anyone else had heard the cry for her mother, before settling his gaze down onto the little girl. A warm smile formed as he proceeded to kneel down to her level, gesturing for her to come closer. "Hello, little one! What might such a tiny thing be doing here all on her own?" he asked her in a friendly tone, the one he'd always use when speaking to small children - something he's gotten quite used to, one might add. As soon as she got within reach he wrapped her up within his robes. No sense for her to remain naked and cold any longer than necessary. He softly grabbed her tiny hands with his own as he pulled her closer towards him. "Who is your mummy, little girl?" he asked, wanting to make sure she would be returned to her parent as soon as possible.

She giggled as the nice man placed the robe around her body, "You are furry like my Daddy!", she said looking at the beard on the man's face. She shuffled on her feet as the robes began to itch at her skin, but she was grateful for the clothes and pulled them tight around her. Unsure of what to say to his question, her brother and herself have lived all their lives in isolation located in the hidden cave on Tython guarded by Master Arrol or in secret as to their identity. The reason for this? her parents. Both high Masters of the Jedi Order and therefore targets to the enemy as are the children and yes the parents are over protective.

But her mother had told her that it was time to come out of hiding, eventually they would have to do so and here among the wonderful people of The Silver Jedi there is no place safer. "My mother is Master Iella .. ", she said softly as if telling a great secret. It was then she noticed the blue eyes, and her eyes widened. They sparkled like gems she had found in a strange cave that she had ventured into on her adventures.

"They look like this!", she said opening up her hand which revealed a small blue crystal. "It .. it sort of spoke to me", she said as if that was something odd, "I heard it.. isn't it pretty?".

He nodded smiling. "Iella is a very good friend of mine, little girl. She's a magnificent woman, and I owe her alot." She then presented him with a tiny crystal in her tiny hand, no larger than a pebble, but of the same blue colour as the enormous one at the centre of the room the two stood in. What she then said confused him somewhat. "It... spoke to you? You heard it speaking to you?" He'd never heard of talking gems before, but he assumed that she'd rather felt it through the Force than it actually spoke to her. Poor girl must still be oblivious to her abilities in the Force, understandably so; not many are told about the Force and what it can do at such a young age, after all.

"It is very pretty. Just like you", he said in a bubbly voice as he punctuated his words by poking at the tip of her small nose. "Did you say you are hungry in that little tummy of yours, little one?" he continued as he began to tickle her belly softly, chuckling as he did.

She giggled as the blue eyed man tickled her tummy, "No, silly! it did not speak to me in words but in here", she pointed to the side of her head. Then leaning in closer to his ear, "You know.. through the force? Can you hear it when the force speaks to you". She asked wondering if he had the ability to be attuned.

"I found it in a very spooky cave, lots to see and do there, but it felt .. funny". She remembered a peculiar feeling she had on entering it.

As if on clue her stomach rumbled with the pang of hunger again, she rested her hand over it to quieten it then giggled. "It sounds like a dragon .. yes?", she joked. "But I am very hungry".

Indeed, he could not hear any sounds or noises coming from the tiny pebble in her hand, but rather than dismiss her ability to hear it, he decided to go along with it. "Oh yes, now I do hear it! What a lovely voice it has!" he said in a surprised voice, masquerading his confusion. "Aren't you a brave little girl for finding it in such a scary place, then?" he continued while patting her tiny, rumbling tummy.

"It sounded like the fiercest dragon I've ever heard! We must do something about his hunger, wouldn't you agree?" He chuckled as she giggled, extending a hand for her to hold onto should she wish it. "Would you mind showing me to the kitchen, baby girl? I'll see about finding us a nice treat." Thurion kept a warm smile on him to comfort the girl, but he had a thought that if one would gladly saunter around naked among strangers, that same person wouldn't be too afraid or shy to hold hands with one.

She looked at him puzzled for a moment at this ability to hear the crystal, but just put it down to some sort of Jedi thing. "Oh it was nothing, I visit scary places all the time", she said dismissively .. "I use to live in a cave .. on Tython with a Ghost as my guardian, Master Arrol is his name... I wonder where he is?", she then asked.

As the man took her hand, it felt comfortable to her and she gave his hand a gentle squeeze as she smiled up into his warm face. "This way!", she yelled as she pulled him along the floor to behind the back of the pretty blue crystal in the centre of the room. After leading him through some corridors .. this way and that, they finally reached the double doors of the kitchens. The Wookiee chef busy with preparations for the next meal to be set in the mess hall.

A small hand went up to her face and touch her own cheek at the sight of the hairy wookiee, Abaigeal was beginning to develop her Cathar markings .. a soft light under fur had started to grown on the face.

With a simple nod to the Wookiee commanding the kitchen, Thurion casually searched the cupboards for anything eatable. He found the fridge, in which he found several cartons of blue milk. He also found a package of cereals along with a bowl and a spoon, and promptly set them up at the table for little [member="Abaigeal"]. He pulled a chair out for her and lifted her up onto it before pushing it back against the table so as to make sure the little girl wouldn't slide off. He'd never had that problem with Nina, but then again she was not a very energetic child and always did things meticulously at her own pace, which Thurion was more than happy to offer her. This one was already proving to be more childlike in her liveliness and cheery nature, meaning that more than likely she was about to end up on the floor had he not made sure she sat secured against the table.

When she was seated properly, the Jedi Master poured the blue milk into the ceramic bowl and covered its surface with cereals before handing over the spoon to Abaigeal, hoping she knew by now how to use one. If not, he'd be more than happy to feed her himself. Her eagerness showed, which made him chuckle happily.
