Eccentric and Outlandish, Berach is a no-nonsense take-no-prisoners, salt-of-the-earth son-of-god professional military officer who has served with distinction in various armies through his long and storied life. Despite his rough and sometimes hostile exterior he deeply cares about the lives of the men and woman who are subordinated to his command and feels each of their deaths keenly personally writing letters of condolence for soldiers with whom he shares an interpersonal relationship with. Berach admires excellence and happily rewards it with recommendations for commendation. That said, as an instructor, he is harsh but fair pushing the young lads and lasses who find themselves as recruits under his tutelage to aspire to be the hardest, smartest and strongest people they have ever been when in his care. More often than not he is perceived as having a gung-ho attitude towards life and his personal goals. Berach respects every single person who chooses to fight for the core whether they be New Imperial Order, Galactic Alliance or otherwise regardless of their origin, creed or race and this endears him to many superiors and subordinates. Berach is energetic and well-humoured despite his age and experience and can be found cracking dry jokes, salty puns and creative or uncreative insults as the situation allows.Motivations:

STRENGTHS:
- Boxing Champion: Since his youth, Berach has been participating in competitive bare-knuckle boxing both at a professional and amateur level, he's extraordinarily talented at the sport with a skill honed by experience to match. His conditioning as a bare-knuckle boxer means Berach doesn't flinch away in pain from striking a hard target with his bare clenched fists and is perfectly comfortable deep in a brawl.
- Hercules' bigger cousin: Berach's physique is so densely packed with brawn, muscle and gristle he makes depictions of ancient war deities look diminutive by comparison. His strength is colossal and has a grip strength in excess of 70 kilograms (154 .lbs) on each hand. Combined with this gargantuan physical power he is quite tall and this affords him a considerable amount of reach. Outside of cybernetics or chemical and/or surgical augmentation, there would be few Human men alive at Berach's age who could dare to hope to have a chance at matching him in raw physical power.
WEAKNESSES:
- Arthritic pains: Wear and tear has taken its' toll on Berach's body particularly at his joints which causes him intermittent mild pain, notably at the knees, wrists and thoracic and cervical vertebrates. It is causing him to "slow down" in his middle adulthood and though he remains powerful, Berach isn't quite as agile as he might have been as a younger man.
- Humanocentric: More of a social weakness than a tangible one in combat, Berach is a core man and disdains aliens and non-humanoid aliens above all others he frequently makes disparaging remarks and crass humour in relation to their unusual features. This can lead to social and physical conflict unnecessarily and compromise his ability to be objective in his observations and decisions.
- Myopia: As an older gentleman who is unaugmented Berach's eyesight has deteriorated significantly in relation to distant objects, this can be remedied through a prescription helmet visor lenses or reading glasses but without these aids the man struggles to study distant targets.
- Slightly deaf: Years of war and combat have left Berach with not insignificant damage to his hearing, he struggles to perceive low frequency and low volume noise which creates hazards in regards to tactical situations and has been the reason why medical personnel have pushed for him to retire from combat leadership. As a result, Berach has lower situational awareness when compared with many of his peers. Additionally, as a consequence of this, he has a habit to shout inappropriately such as in social situations.
