STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Underworld roots strengthen his skill in weaponry and a level of "street-smarts". His upbringing gives him an affinity to technology and problem-solving, although developing droid-like apathy and poor social skills. Being a trandoshan, he is extremely athletic and robust, although his claws limit use of firearms and dexterity. His pilot skills are somewhat sub-par, as well.
APPEARANCE:
Overall, Bekel cuts a short and lithe figure, although his dark scales and, in contrast, bright eyes make him an intimidating figure when approached. He prefers to stay under the radar, though, which is helped by him being so small. He wears a similar suit as in the above picture, although it is black, instead of yellow. He has claws, so use of gloves or boots is completely restricted to custom made wear.
BIOGRAPHY:
Bekel is very closely related to a legendary duo of jedi hunters (They're actually canon, but I can't remember their names. If somebody can help me out with this, that would be FANTASTIC.).
He was born into Corellian slums, and, with no knowledge of who may have sired him, was raised through his early childhood by outdated caretaker droids. He was then discovered by a local Droid Shop owner, who took him in, with hopes of raising Bekel as a bodyguard. Day after day, he sparred against droids, and, in his free time, studied the technology in the shop. Then, after a few years, he discovered the man's real intentions, and proceeded to beat him senseless, promptly leaving his former home afterwards.
This experience scarred him, but also woke him up to what he thinks is all he's good for, leading him to drift from job to job in crime syndicates. With the extra money that he earns, he purchases holobooks to study up on martial techniques, along with spare tech from junkyards to build custom weaponry. All this experience drives him to a very successful mercenary career and the well-rounded skills that come with. Now with the ability to explore the rest of the galaxy, he now pursues work in the taste of adventure...
