Corpo Queen
Was it a retreat?
Yes.
Did Vira understand what a vacation was?
No.
Per usual, she was up long before dawn. Long before the edge of morning. Brunette hair was tugged back into a simple, no nonsense style. Designer shorts and crop-top with thin straps that criss-crossed in the back felt buttery-soft against her pale skin. She'd fired off at least a dozen messages before she'd left her room at the Exchange. Steps took her out of the resort and toward the beachfront.
Her two bodyguards were slacking, though. She'd easily snuck past one who had fallen asleep outside her door.
Amateurs.
It was still dark when her feet hit the sand. But the first ripples of glow from two suns about to breach the horizon began lighting up the air. Waiting for no one, she took off. There was something freeing about being able to run. It was one of the rare moments she felt as though there were no expectations on her shoulders. No one could bother her. She was alone with her thoughts. Alone with the physical limits of her body which she liked to test the boundaries of. She ran for a long time. Longer than usual. Before she realized she should start to head back.
Amber eyes flickering over the water as she went. Decidedly NOT looking for a certain Rezlan.
