Zaiden Dean
The Stealth Master
Shots fired from many points ahead, as the group had stepped into a partial cavern, a high dome overhead. It had been nigh instantaneous that they were spotted, and immediately his companions fire had laid down several of their men. But that was not much longer before they began to return the barrage. Though he was firing his arrows, Matreya was much more conservative then his men, choosing to take a shot only when absolutely sure it was a kill shot.
Once they had finished the men off, Matreya stepped from the shadows and headed for the nearest body. Grabbing the arrow that had found itself lodged in between two connecting joints of the clavicle. Having pierced clean into the body at an odd angle, it to clung to the heart tissues, so when removed finalized the death that would have been inevitable had that not been his course.
Wiping the blood clean of the head, he looked to the nearby scout, "I am sensing something heavy ahead. Don't know what it is, that could mean it is something I have never encountered, or that it is simply to far out of my range." He paused, then added, "Sense abilities are not my strong suit either way."
His man nodded as he began to respond, before a loud bellow emanated from deeper in the cave. Smiling beneath his helm, he said, "Guess your right sir."
