Private Beachwood and Coffee

It was early dusk out on the western promenade of the Coruscant Jedi Temple. Warm blues fading into early gold. It spoke of night, soon to be upon them.

Madison Isle stood in regally-made city clothes. Standing but a few feet away from a table full of seated Jedi Masters. The old ones were discussing Jedi politics and philosophy. Modern topics as well as old. They seemed to disagree and Padawan Isle found it all rather interesting. So I suppose you could say she was eavesdropping, of course. Just. ...Well. Standing nearby. And listening.

The warm promenade was full of similar discussions and idle groups of people today. Many of the garden tables and standing vistas were occupied. It gave a wonderful view of the city too.

Madison checked her phone for messages. Then looked back up and pretending not to be spying. Erm... I mean.

Eavesdropping.

Coruscant was many things... to many different people. For some a place of endless corruption, greed and worse of all... stagnation as the senate could move slowly on some issuess that were not usually in their own self interest in a larger body of work. Others could view it as the center of galactic civilization and home to billions of people. Still some could see it as she usually did when she visited... overcrowded and full of so many people it rarely had its own identity. THe gardens and walkways leading to the jedi temple were a good indication as she walked through them wearing the simple jedi Princess kimono she had. Black with red trim and a triple hollycock leaf pattern on it.

Her neck and face covered in the Solari Shiroi make up the jedi had designed for her. With the white of it gleaming as small blue highlights were underneath for a more ethereal glow. Darkened eyes like pools of dark honey and her hair pulled back over her shoulders in a curtain down to her ankles. SMall beads of kyber shaped into small bells that jingled as she walked with her Hair Piece making the look of bangs. Her hands in front of herself as the sash of her belt held her lightsaber the White Lotus. The gleaming of the white carapace from a gaping spider queen. THe curve of the hilt showing the design made for dueling and on the opposite side a pouch secured on the outside.

She had her normal equipment and there was more to the robes then many others could see or even notice... but it was meant to inspire a look of regal beauty. SInce she had never joined the ranks of the new jedi order... they barely ever set foot on Atrisia or seemed to care about them. THeir own senator whom had mostly vanished hadn't even come to the planet staying on COruscant all of the time. So why come now? Well to her it was simple enough. To observe, the Wukong were growing and like the green jedi of Corellia they were homegrown and protected Atrisia so all she needed to do was check out their senator or at least confirm the lady was unfit and they could begin seeking another.

Her walking in the parks and among the people got a few glances... the spectacle of Atrisian nobles could be something while she had her jade robed Otachi around her. Their faces concealed under the hoods. Equal in size and shape to her as they were trained to body double. THeir Sabers on their hips as well giving the look of a jedi entourage to the princess. She head debated bringing Xīfāng but a large Atrisian tiger in the streets of the city might be a little much no matter how well trained and a good boy her was. HEr guest was also there a rare sight offworld... a Keisei who had been hired to come this far out and normally it would have been denied but news that the princess was going as let their order accept.

Two guards there to escort the woman in equally as ornate robes. Her make up streaked with defining reds and her black hair. The small landing platform in the park in view of the temple for taxi's having one of the bigger business leaders. She was not entirely sure but everything had checked out and the Keisei was being escorted with soldiers armed in the latest that they had military wise. Junko saw them off as a small squad of soldiers piled into the taxi and followed in a second ship. SHe waited making sure the woman had her two beacons. A known one and a back up on her person. THen she was walking and finishing more while she got to stand there and some jedi were around to look but mostly she looked at the temple steps and people.

The three Masters that Madison had been eavesdropping on suddenly stopped their conversation and looked elsewhere. Causing Madison to follow their eyes to a large Atrisian procession. A regal group. Powerful and bold. She liked it. It spoke to her sensibilities of how power should be displayed. With originality.

The three Masters debated the importance of the Atrisian's arrival. They discussed it thoroughly too. They discussed the Keisei being present. They discussed the need for guards and bodyguards. They discussed the politics of Atrisa and speculated on their itinerary. They discussed recent history and the rarity of such events. Mostly, they just seemed surprised. And maybe a bit flattered.

Madison mostly caught wind of something else too.

That these Atrisian women were different from the Jedi of this place. Different than Coruscant. And this intrigued her.

"How does one say hello in Atrisia?" Madison spoke aloud of the table nearby. Easily heard by all.

The three Masters turned again to face their newcomer. Showing little surprise at her sudden presence in their happy little circle. The old Yoda-like creature spoke first. Relaxing as he did in the warmth of his chair.

"I agree with the Padawan, fellow Masters. I like her spunk. ...How does one say hello in Atrisia?"

The ancient looking Echani male scoffed and stroked his massive beard,

"Ha. Nonsense Master Ki. One does not intrude upon Atrisian guests. Leave the poor visitors be."

Yet the old Yoda-like creature persisted,

"Nonsense? Bah. Surely the Force would understand a few pleasant words between old friends, yes? A conversation, this is. Fine by me and fine by all. What's the hurt, hmm?"

The tiny Master escaped his seat slowly. This two fine friends simply sighed aloud and let him leave. Perhaps their debate had come to an amicable conclusion anyway.

"Young Padawan. Yes yes." Master Ki waddled over to Madison's side. His stubby green finger pointing up at her. "...Would you mind accompanying an old man down to meet our new guests, yes? My friends are too old and too grumpy to enjoy nice things. Hehe."

"You're the reason we can't have nice things. Master Ki." The third old Master scoffed happily.

"Bah. Bah. Nonsense. Nonsense." The old Yoda creature smiled. "Old and senile they are. Pay them no mind."

He waved for Madison to follow him. Bouncing happily down the stairs towards their new destination.

"Are we going to say hello to those Atrisian delegates, Master Jedi?"

"Why of course. Of course. A welcoming party, we shall be. Offer the services of the Jedi Temple, we shall. Hehe. ...See the beauty of these new found women, we shall. Enjoy pleasant company, I hope. Hehe."

Madison raised an eyebrow at the old Masters sudden switch of tone. Were they going all the way out here to say hello to the Atrisian party or? Was Master Ki looking for a hot date?

Hmmmm...

"People are approaching." THe voice was soft and under breath... made so only Junko could hear it as she was walking and looked up towards the stairs... two of them. Which brought an internal nod of her head. The smaller one yoda like was moving with another and he appeared the older of them... not just in rank likely. The woman was different and Junko turned with her full attention on them. Moving to join and not be in the middle of the area. "Greetings." She said it with a bow of her head while the handmaidens followed suit with her. THeir attention going back to the pair coming down the stairs. "It has been a long time since I have been here, I am glad to see the temple thriving."

Junko offered a smile while her hands were clasped in front of herself. Looking at the jedi Madison. "Such beautiful hair... and eyes like the clouds of a storm." She said it and for outsiders Benzaiten traditions might seem strange but when one took the time to craft their appearance they should receive the correct compliments upon it. She looked at the smaller jedi and bowed leaning down to look him on the eyes. "It does well to see the order remains as well. The last we saw and heard from the senate there was talks they wanted to confine the jedi to the temple and restrict them more and more. Guess war changes things as always."
