  • Manufacturer: Gahenn Droid Foundry
  • Affiliation: Crimson Hand
  • Model: BC2 Elite Centurion Droid
  • Production: Minor

  • Material: Durasteel, droid components, Cortosis
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
  • Classification: Fourth Degree
  • Weight: 170kg
  • Height: 1.93m
  • Movement: Bipedal
  • Armaments: Cortosis Blade, Cortosis Shield
  • Misc. Equipment: N/A
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The Shield and Blade that the Droid uses are made of Cortosis, allowing the droid to fight against Lightsaber wielding enemies
Strengths:
  • The droid is capable of predicting the enemies attack patterns and movements a few seconds before they occur, allowing the BC2 Centurion to parry and block the attacks properly.
  • The programming of the droid allowed the previously mentioned prediction capabilities to account for all known forms of Lightsaber combat, from Form 1 to Form 7, making it to where no one lightsaber form could be used to outwit the BC2.
Weaknesses:
  • The only parts of the BC2 that are made of Cortosis are, as previously stated, the Blade and Shield mounted on its arms. This means that the arms can easily be cut off, or some other part can be attacked in an attempt to destroy the droid simply and quickly.
  • The Droid could be easily flanked from behind, as it did not have the agility or processing power needed to take on more than one Lightsaber wielding enemy at a time. This could be another easy exploit to avoid a battle, as another way of taking advantage of the lack of agility would be to jump over and behind it before it had time to react, so then someone could attack it from behind and destroy it that way.
DESCRIPTION
This Droid was actually one of few that the production personnel in charge of the Gahenn Droid Foundry had uncovered from Clone Wars Separatist Databanks, as this was reported to have been commissioned by a paranoid Separatist Admiral for when he was on his homeworld of Cato Nemonia. Supposedly, before the droids could be shipped to him, a rival Naval Officer had killed the Admiral, and thus the 20 droids that had been completed were dispersed to four separate bases. Not only was the fact the bases these droids were posted in rarely attacked by Republic Forces, but these droids were also introduced so late into the war, they never saw combat between the Republic and the C.I.S. After the Galactic Empire rose to power, and the Droid Army shut down, the original 20 BC2 Centurions were used as Storm Trooper Target Practice. Once the Tale of these droids was properly uncovered, the personnel in charge of this specific project quickly got the Droid worked into the Production Lines, adding it to the Crimson Hand Droid Army.
