Name: BB-24.
Alias(es): 'Princess', 'Buttercup', 'PB Cup.'
Ranks: Artificial Astrogational Companion.
Titles: Princess (Patronizing, Non-Royalty.)
Loyalties: Galactic Alliance, Rogue Squadron, Lucius Varad.
Role: Companion; Astromech Droid.
Development Threads: If Required.
Personality Age: Four years.
Manufacture Date: Four Years Prior to the Present Date.
Species: Second - Degree Astromech Droid.
Gender: Feminine Programming.
Size: Small.
Locomotion: Gyro-stabilized Spherical Body.
Height: 670mm (0.67 Meters)
Main Ball Diameter: 500mm (0.5 Meters)
Head Height: 150mm (0.15 Meters)
Force Sensitivity: N/A.
Sensors: Darkvision, Full-Spectrum Transceiver.

Processor Type: Heuristic (Ability to learn through Experience, and Reason through several various possibilities, I.E. Artificial Humanity.)

Appearance: Like others of it's kind, this BB unit featured a domed processor and support housing (I.E. Head) adorned atop a spherical gyro-stabilized body. Primarily, the Durasteel ball and cranium was enameled with pristine alabaster paint and each modular tool-bay disks, alongside its secondary color were marked with the brilliant hues of Fuchsia.

Personality: Though the stock model had initially begun as a blank slate, over the years BB-24 had acquired a Princess-like personality. With the installation of a Feminine Archetype, the Droid had taken to her assigned duties with a Noble's disdain and sass, relishing the downtime between missions to take in the sights, and finally doing whatever she could to uphold her pristine, freshly manufactured appearance. While some would consider that a drawback, as in Human's it's classified as a Personality Disorder, BB-24 has taken pride in her inhuman flaw and in-turn retains an uncanny optimistic view of the world around her.

Weapon of Choice: Electroshock Probe, Inhuman Optimism.

Wealth: N/A - Automaton

Combat Function: Minimal - While the initial programming had detailed that interacting with a sentient in a violent fashion was prohibited, there were times that such subroutines had to be circumvented in order to preserve the life of her companion. Thus, if the BB Unit ever directly engages someone that is considered Hostile, it would deploy it's Liquid Cable Launchers, Arc Welder, and Electroshock probe to disable or distract an Adversary. When socketed within a Starfighter, it's Sentient Preservation Protocols revert towards protecting the Pilot by any means necessary, resulting in a higher skill level of dealing with Enemy Pilots.

Skills: Like any other one of Industrial Automation's Astromech Droids, this BB Unit is fully capable of overtaking a pilot's function in a supporting role. The Unit would be able to override flight controls manually, perform in-flight and field repairs/maintenance, a substitution for a Navigational computer - able calculate Hyperspace jumps, and gunnery control.

Other Notes: After rolling off the assembly line, BB-24 had been through two pilots before being assigned to Rogue Squadron, and Lucius Varad thereafter. When they had first met, the Droid had considered the newly minted Rogue Twelve to be a lost cause due to his dour, and reserved nature. However, as they bonded from mission to mission, BB-24 turned out to be the perfect foil to the darkened nature of her Companion, bringing balance and harmony to the Unit.

Intent: To formalize and flesh out Lucius' Astromech Droid, to spice up his introverted personality and liven up future threads with a hilariously pink addition.
