Captain Larraq
Capitalist
Well after his return to Mandalorian space from the skies of Eriadu, Larraq was troubled by the events that had transpired there. Rarely had he seen a Naval engagement collapse so quickly. Before his fleet could even arrive on the battlefield, the Fringe fleet had been routed and sent fleeing the system. Through personally experience, Rygel Larraq was aware of the ships, weapons, and tactics used by the Omega Protectorate as they fired upon and pursued his ships across Eriadu.
But what he wasn't aware of were the tactics utilized so effectively by the Protectorate Navy that had routed the Fringe. Likewise, he was only able to obtain good intelligence on the lighter and faster of the Protectorate ships during his engagement with their fleet. What he desperately needed to know, for the good of his people and for the potential benefit to his company, were the capabilities of the Protectorate's larger ships and the tactics he could expect from them.
To obtain the information he needed though, he had only one option. He had to ask nicely.
"This is Mandal Hypernautics CEO Rygel Larraq." Larraq said into the communicator in his desk. "I was recently hired to assist Fringe commanders in a Naval engagement that went poorly before I could arrive to provide assistance. I'd like to speak with those commanders about the nature of the engagement and the possible acquisition of battle-reports."
The transmission was encrypted of course. But Rygel Larraq had no doubt that it would reach its intended recipients safely. In the meantime though, Larraq leaned back, sipped on a mug of coffee, and watched holographic projections of known Omega Protectorate ships scroll along the far wall of his office on Sundari.
