Description: Omega Protectorate wanted to create a three tiered armor system within their ranks and in order to accomplish this, a lightweight version of the Battle Mark II was required. From this desire, the Scout Variant was created with a single purpose in mind. Extended operations outside behind enemy lines. The intention wasn’t to create units where they could operate like Black Ops or even Special Forces, but scout ahead of main forces and report back enemy positions and even deploy Sniper Teams or Explosive Specialists. In addition to use by scouts and forces intent on going beyond the front battle-lines, this particular armor could be used by Officers within the Omega Protectorate who have not been designated a set of armor themselves. This way it would ensure that the very core of the Protectorate were protected by some means from hostile intent.
