Appearance: Barbas is a massive Kral'ın Montaj with thick black fur, vibrant crimson eyes, and a pair of curving bone-colored horns jutting from both sides of his massive head. His massive size is the direct interference in his gestation within his mother's womb by the scientists in the service of Kaine Zambrano specifically to breed a war mount large enough to carry the Dark Lord's imposing stature into battle without tiring or being injured in the process. After twelve years of existence he sports many scars beneath his brilliant ebony coat, all of them earned on the field of battle with his master riding astride him into the filed ranks of the enemy.

Personality: Barbas, having formed a bond with Kaine, is fiercely loyal to him and will protect him at all cost despite whatever danger may befall his person. The empathetic pact between them allows Barbas to feel exactly what Kaine is feeling, whether that be anger, desire, joy, or any other emotion. That also means that, in battle, the two are perfectly synchronized through the Force and can predict each other's movements near flawlessly. Generally Barbas displays the traits often associated with male lions which includes a penchant for lazily sleeping around the various chambers of his master's abode, and haphazardly snacking on any servant unfortunate enough to disturb his slumber.
Combat Function: In battle Barbas serves one clear function, to carry the Dark Lord into battle and eviscerate his enemies with tooth and claw. To protect Barbas from direct ranged attacks, Kaine frequently straps large plates of durasteel armor to his hide along with a leather saddle and battle helmet. Even without the added armor, Barbas' hide is strong enough to survive several direct energy blasts and even a couple of slugs, but he's not invincible. His claws and fangs are sharp enough to rip through normal body armor, but he has learned to aim for the generally unprotected throat and even to tear off helmets to chomp down upon their skull.

History: Barbas was bred for the Dark Lord Kaine Zambrano roughly twelve galactic standard years ago in the laboratories of Vain Hollow specifically as a war mount and guardian for his chambers. Since then Barbas has participated in several battles, most notably the Battle of Ruusan between the Sith Triumvirate and the Silver Jedi Coalition.
